This event should be running until 11.1 drops at the very least, and it shouldn’t be such a massive grind for the various sets.
speak for yourself.
comparing game mechanics to an abusive relationship shows how out of touch you are. you need to chill… FOMO is a YOU problem
I disagree. Having to wait almost 3 weeks in a “celebration” event for your first reward is really not good. Most would be a week or week and half for your first… there’s discounts for the other sets after you buy the first one and they can simply adjust the numbers any time they want.
They really dont know how to make things fun and when they do they dont do it ever again or they try but it’s ruined by something in the way.
or maybe it was a thought-out response to a potential issue?
but who cares about those.
Does it ever become uncapped if you donʻt do the 100/per first? Can someone just wait a week or so and start at the 20/per?
News Flash - corporations are in it just for the money. More news at 11
I don’t think so. If you start late, you may not be able to finish it.
As those of us who remembers the 10 year anniversary, this seems like such a bummer from a design standpoint. The currency should flow like bronze did in remix…or heck just use the same remix logic. Steamplow content that has absolutely no hope of challenging you, throw currency at us with reckless abandon, and let us collect all the collectibles.
Like remix got it mostly right outside the disaster that was weapon mog tints (and mostly overworld and LFR). Like this should be a fun and easy celebration time and even for us right of bell curves, we still got actual stuff to do outside the event too.
I wish that instead of gaining tokens through world quests they had created a specific quest line like they did in Legion which would unlock the armor.
The Class specific quest would require you to travel through every expansion and complete a set of tasks. Each day, a new task would drop for you to complete. No penalty if you missed a day as the task would still be available the next day when you logged in. All quests would be able to completed solo but the final boss each day would recommend being in a group (3). At the end of the quest line you unlock the armor which you then need for access to a 20 person raid that is open to all classes as long as the player is wearing the Covenant armor.
You sure you were replying to me? I think we’re saying the same thing
addiction doesnt mean you love doing it. thats why its an addiction
they coulda done way better for sure seems like a half a event lmao
coulda have like actual dungeon events, released news of a tbc classic permanently (cope),
or some rl items or stuff for accounts thats been around 20 yrs idk.
Your post should be stickied to the top of everything. A 20 year celebration after 20 years of hard grinding for different factions, mounts whatevers, should be more fun and flow well. Not be more of the same tedious grind. You ever bike uphill? You reach a certain apex on your journey and then there’s the joy and beauty of the downhill glide - save you don’t hit a tight corner and wipeout. >.> After there might be more uphill grind to the next 10 years, but there is some relief and fun in the mix.
DO any of the Raids, Chomie Time, or the Guest servicese give tokens? what about the world bosses, what about the other 9000 other things they are doing with the event? I mean sure it is only 3 per quest so like 9 a day? that sucks, but you need confirm that that is the only source before you go flying off the handle and whining about it.
I don’t know, seems fine to me
Yeah it seems like the OP does not know what they are talking about and is just whining and trying to bad mouth the event.
Another person who does not understand Fear Of Missing Out.
I see now, its an achievement unlock.
“After the first set purchase at 60 Bronze Celebration Tokens you’ll earn the achievement Upgraded Apparel and the second set purchase will lower to a cost of 40 tokens. Purchasing a second set will earn the achievement Classy Dresser which lowers the cost of additional sets to 20 tokens.”
I am hoping the tokens are warbound and armor set purchases are not locked to specific classes.
In all fairness, this boils down to the financial division cracking wooden rulers over the designers’ fingers.
Not a bad idea actually, 3D older tier sets before Legion and recolored ones after Legion wouldn’t be too bad a selection for that. Save remixes for new armor design for stuff we never got in the original expansion.
Having hard things is fine. Having hard time limited things is not fine. Especially when it’s not really hard, it’s just tedious grinding for measly amounts of currency.
