They can make it so you cant change specs mid raid.

This is for people who want to play pvp and pve but not have to constantly go pay for spec swaps every bloody day.

Thinking about leveling a pally and doing aoe farming on the side, then remembering it’s 100g to spec into grind mode and to raid mode… very lame

If you dont like the way classic is then dont play it stop trying to change it to be more like retail.

If you want to play retail go play retail
If you want to play classic Play Classic

IT is that simple stop trying to merge the 2 together. That is not what majoirty of the people want.

How about you have a “dual spec” that you can only change at the class trainer, and it costs let’s say 10g to change your spec.

It still changes your bars and gear to your previous spec profile you chose just like dual spec, but it is done in the exact same way as a normal respec currently is done.

Do you think that would be a good compromise so that people can more freely change their specs, without effecting the gameplay of Vanilla at all?

Its not a full classic release. Its only going to be a year. As much as u guys like to make things take 10 years longer blizzard isn’t waiting for us….

If ive got an hour I dont need to waste 10 mins swapping specs.

You have no argument because it doesnt affect you.

Blizz will add it and youll continue to cry about other things that dont affect you

no goes agaisnt classic not wanted STOP askign for changes.

How about you all just play classic as it was meant to be played or dont play it at all.

I agree, personally I’d be fine with them not changing it at all.

I do understand the desire for people who wanna PvP and PvE and healers/tanks who wanna respec to solo without going broke so fast too.

Personally I’m in favor of:

  1. Not changing it at all

Or

  1. Just reducing the gold cost so it’s not an issue at all

But I definitely think just adding WotLK dual spec is a huge mistake and going too far when it’s not necessary to fix this problem at all.

SoM was 1 year and didn’t have dual spec :expressionless: We’ll survive.

needing to pay a significant (but not huge) sum of money for each respec is important. it keeps players honest.

I understand that there’s a lot of people that support classic+. An era fresh isn’t the place to implement those desires. Save it for classic+.

Well, that’s exactly why there’s a problem. It isn’t that people don’t know there are ways to improve vanilla. It’s that the developers, and apparently a lot of players, don’t understand the ramifications of the levers they want to pull. Or they don’t care.

Either way, the byproducts of seemingly innocuous decisions can destroy the game. And this team is not capable of patching the holes that pop up because they do not have a fundamental understanding of what makes classic tick. SOD has proven that.

You’re really not doing a good job representing the players on your side who want dual spec in the way you’re talking to people about it.

You’re basically just trolling constantly and asking for logs instead of having a discussion.
