Frost mage and sub rogue suffer from same issue, where even if they do only average damage, their cc/control/kit is so good that they automatically become the best spec in the game.

frost and sub should never have good damage because of how much control/cc they come with.

I mean to be fair trying to chat with a Mage player is kind of like trying to hold a dialog with an AI that has been exclusively fed Xaryu clips.

Balance aside, though. It’s like one of those design/kit things. Frost could be balanced around having a stun, but I imagine that’s the devs just deciding that Mage shouldn’t have a reliable stun, which…isn’t a problem aside from every other class having a stun, I guess.

TO BE FAIR. They’re all psychotic. Numbingg, Volkazar and Abrua are like the only ones who are just chill.

They created a design for frost as it is, and they’re sticking to it. Is what it is. If they bring back deep freeze, they probably need to return frost to its MOP Shatter style w/ blazing speed making a return.

Yep. I only played it a bit but having access to most of the fun stuff felt nice. Doesn’t feel stuck into pressing Frost bolt like it did during Shadowlands or whatever which also made it hard to play with non-casters.

Shadow priests have gotten 6 Reworks btw (Lol) These awful designed specs like Frost Mage & Demo Lock need to be revamped before anything else bc most people dont enjoy playing as or fighting against them

I personally don’t mind this version of frost. I definently feel for the old frost shatter stuff, but having a more pve oriented frost build diversifies the specs. Fire is your on demand go spec, arcane is your cheese spec, and frost is your PVE spec.

Gotta remember pre Legion, all 3 mages specs played the EXACT same way.

Yeah no. Not every class should have everything. Thats called homogenization.
Lots of other ranged classes you can play that have a stun if you want it that bad
