2022 = WOW supremacy

Bobby Kotick > Yoshi guy all day

WoW already better than all other game, but will return to glory in 10.0. The 9.2 patch will be insane!

I mean, if we get 9.2 in Feb, that gives 9 months of 9.2 with the new 10.0 coming in Nov. 2022.

That seems to be PERFECTLY in line with their release schedule.

The “10.0 in 2022 is a pipe dream” would be under the assumption of a 9.3, but we know that isn’t happening.

So with just a 9.2-> 10.0
 I dunno, this thread is full of pitchforks and torches but
 hate to break it to you but it’s not REALLY such a crazy idea.

Heck, most people HERE are going to start whining about how bored they are with 9.2 in a mere 5-6 months
 let alone NINE months of it. You sorry lot will be crying for 10.0 in Nov 2022

yep its happening

i still don’t understand the appeal of that. Seems like tons of work for nothing of real value.

I am pretty sure they gave up on developing 2 patchs in shadowlands and are focusing mostly in the upcoming expansion.

I would so love for Blizzard to a$$ pull an amazing expansion to follow this. Needed so bad it ain’t funny.

They have pretty much failed to follow thier typical release schedule for all of Shadow Lands
and they haven’t announced the next x-pack which they would normally have done by now.

And let’s not forget they delayed D4 and OW2 without new release dates. While not the same teams, they are the same company which means wow is likely having similar problems.

All signs point to
not gonna happen

Blizzard isn’t going to shut down WoW when its a $10+ billion dollar franchise they’ve been milking for the last 20 years. The game functions on a cycle of building up hype for the next expansion, sells millions of copies, and repeats it two years later. There’s no real financial obligation for them to do a 9.3 because patches don’t draw in nearly as much players as expansions.

I would say looking at Blizzards actual recent work on WoW is showing they’ve cleaned up a lot of their problems because 9.2 dropped on the PTR faster than people expected after 9.1.5, and there’s no reason it won’t be released by Spring of next year. By then they’ll be dropping a new expansion trailer and a beta after 9.2 is out.

When WoW launches a new expansion they already have a team working on the next expansion and they would have laid off a lot of people if they were closing up WoW.

I didn’t say they are ending WoW.

I said that 10.0 won’t be released next year
well, this year depending on where you live.

It’s sad you want so desperately for that to be true. Perhaps a new years resolution to get a life is in order.

I hope you had as many drinks as I think you’ve had :stuck_out_tongue:

WOW will never go back to WOTLK numbers, but 10.0 will be make or break this time. If it’s bad, people still holding on will let go and those that let go will cement their decision to not return.

If it’s good and they actually make the right changes for once them we’ll see a lot of people come back.

I’m hopeful but scared. Game will never really die, but I want it to be great again.
