2004-06 players were bad

You guys do realize that when WoW came out the main game that the player base came from was EQ… where the tactics were basically “push auto attack and heal rotation” for a 1 hour fight after a 8 hour zone clear.

First time my guild killed Rag we had the good grace that DIE let one of our guys join them the week before for their first kill. We developed a similar strat to them but not the same. Most guilds all did something different with each boss. Especially since horde didn’t have paladins.

I played beta, release, and TBC. It didn’t take forever to clear because it was hard or easy, it was new and it played on the progression of the current game.

Players were not bad, the content was new.

Classic is not OG Vanilla, get over yourselves.

Yeah looks like they should have chosen 1.08-1.11.
