20$ prepaid card not working on classic?

I just purchased a 20$ blizzard card uploaded it and went to add time to classic wow and the dropdown box doesn’t let me chose it… this cant be serious

Retail and classic share a subscription.

Edit: well not 100 percent accurate. If you have game time on retail then then you can play classic (like a bonus) so retail game time = classic game time.

No I got that part… im talking about the payment method after selecting wow it doesn’t give the option to use the 20$on my account

Subscriptions are recurring, so they need a payment option that’s not limited. Balance is limited, so you want a non-recurring version of game time. It’s the same reason why I couldn’t use a prepaid card from my bank on my Origin subscription thingy to try out Mass Effect Andromeda a few years back (cough) - despite refilling it every month.
