@Levíathan are those who had CS remove the PTR license are we safe or no?
CS has confirmed you’re safe
I was one of the ones who had two PTR licenses. Without any need to contact CS one of my licenses were removed and soon after got access to the stress test. Happy to be able to participate and great work resolving this issue for the masses.
Happy for you, sadly I contacted CS to remove the extra and here I am waiting still.
same, no one who contacted cs has the download option yet, not looking good, cs said we SHOULD be fine but not sure they can figure out an eeasy fix, it looks like they already ran the script again because everyone else stopped posting that didnt contact cs.
So I have a World of Warcraft®: Legion (wow1) PTR in my account but just the normal game on the drop down. When I got the stress test email a World of Warcraft®: Legion (wow5) PTR appeared on my account. So does the first one have any affect on normal beta invite?
What now?? Those of us who followed your step didnt get their beta. THIS IS JUST GREAT
Next month, knowing what they know now, the stress test will be better. So the testing solved bugs.
yea just sucks that I won’t be able to join the fun tonight
sadly people who were proactive and trying to help/try to figure out solutions will be the ones who dont get to try it out. i have a feeling that we are getting too close to the stress test starting for them to spend the time finding a fix for those of us who had cs delete ptrs earlier today
True, but none of the progress matters past August 26th. Its been a long road from 2006, three months isn’t going to kill us.
I didn’t even get an invite, but I’d prefer to see as many that did, get in, so we can have a good test.
Bugs happen. Congratulations, you’ve helped in the Customer Support/Battle Net Account stress test. The test findings will help Customer Support and Battle Net staff support the community in future instances.
Received Stress test email - no access - #792 by Vrakthris This is what we wanted to hear which is better then your Thanks for helping better luck next time. No, you do what you can to make sure the people that helped are properly compensated for their efforts.
Eh, we aren’t owed anything for helping people out. Blizz doesn’t sign our checks.
If you didn’t receive an invite but want to make sure that there won’t be an issue if you did get in? It probably wouldn’t hurt.
Just as a final follow up, I got my PTR accounts removed, so I’m all ready to land an invite in the next stress test. Thanks for all the help, and all the hard work getting everyone into the test this time around.
Nice, I just hope that those of us who were flagged, but wasn’t applied due to having 2 PTRs, are still eligible for future tests. My worry is that Blizzard thinks the accounts are already flagged since they received invites, despite not actually being flagged.
Edit: to clarify, that’s regarding us who had 2 PTRs but asked CS to delete one or both of them.
I’d expect someone to be doing a full review of the situation in the next week or two to try and clean up for next time. But we’ll see in June.
Another follow-up, i had both PTR accounts deleted yesterday by CS prior to the second pass by the devs, just logged in and I have the download link now. Still plenty of time to go play around! Thank you so much to @Vrakthris for working so hard for us yesterday and staying calm during all of our babyrage.
Same here.
As I mentioned in the other thread, it looks like they were able to rerun the list and flag the folks who were previously invited into the Stress test but had an issue. If you previously received an invite, please check your account. You should hopefully have the Stress test option now.
