and kids are back in school. Things will get better hang in there bros.
There are no high school age kids playing this game other than kalvish meepmonk and saul
My daughter started Monday.
Sounds like queue times will be getting worse ![]()
Nope. They only play dps. The servers are always laggy and que times suck during “prime time” when the normies are all home.
College follows the same schedule. Summer classes are part time at most.
Kids aren’t playing WoW, let alone arena. Queue times aren’t going to change. This isn’t 2010.
There aren’t college students playing WoW either, unless they’re working towards their doctorate. Even 28-year-olds are outliers, and the average WoW player is going to be in the 32-45 range.
real and true ![]()
It’s such a weird thing to me that it’s so common of a misconception. It’d be like someone in 2015 saying that they can’t find any N64 games to buy because all the high schoolers with their summer jobs are scooping up the available stock.
It also causes the game to take on a big, cringy Mormon vibe when you consider that a company is reserving the right to take away the toy of an adult in their mid-30s if they get caught swearing in the presence of other adults in their mid-30s.
Bfa were the college years for wow players. This games is just a bunch of 30 year olds now.
im going back to school too ill be playing more since im quitting my fulltime job not less
Same here, gonna do the no-job full time student thing for a couple years. Not sure how much i’ll be playing though.
What you going for?
Kids in school = more time to que for adults
If you guys specifically said higher rated 3v3 or raiding I might agree but I think there’s just some observation bias there with streamers and who you personally decide to play with. Random bgs and other casual content is way more popular in terms of hours played and unique players and I really doubt 30 year olds are logging in to wow for that.
Solo que, and the 3v3 lfg groups with “3k xp 1650cr BE SIMILAR” on a fresh account, I feel like may have a more balanced distribution of younger players. Either way, “prime time” is usually nothing but dps players in lfg. While when I play during the weekdays I have an easier time playing my dps and finding healers. Conversely, rbgs is the opposite usually. Healers fill slots the fastest. A lot of people like to heal rbgs but not arena. Too bad rbgs are giga dead now.
dps spot feels impossible to find i always have to go healer
right now just going for an AA and then im gonna try to transfer to a university and go for a bachelors in science majoring in psychology
I say this from the perspective of duelist groups and 2.4k/glad/hero groups. Yeah the 1600 yolo groups people don’t want to heal.
Bro been playing against grown Men and Women with like 3 kids and 600+ credit scores this whole time and never knew it.
The new generation isn’t even trying to learn this complicated mess lol
i cant stand playing in any rbg over 1700 rating, the people are just inhuman levels of insufferability
Yeah for sure. But I think it’s more a symptom of how dead and deflated the bracket is. If rbgs were thriving people would be a lot less negative and dramatic.
