2 more raiding guilds leaving Netherwind

Congratulations Blizzard on your pocket change from transfer money, this will help pay for your diversity trainings.

Meanwhile, LFG on Netherwind has less messages in it than your PR team has on these forums.

Which two guilds are leaving? I know Savages was doing the lord’s work trying to keep it fun on a dead server.

I laughed at the diversity trainings. I’ve been mocking them for their sensitivity trainings, sexual harassment trainings, and NPC-gender-reassignment coding marathons.

Despite the ballbusting it’s really depressing to watch this company treat their biggest fans and financial lifeblood like garbage.

If anyone from Blizz ever gives these forums a glance, please just open up free xfers for all.

Yeah, Old Blanchy server is getting pretty sad for dungeons, heroics & raiding now. LFG chat is almost all primate poop-throwing & little else at this point, & the overall guild raid scene is also mostly lifeless from what I have observed. I’ll probably transfer over 1-2 characters I enjoy playing to a higher populated PvE server so I can do more than solo/farm or just raid log for the occasional scheduled raid.

Blizzard just needs to do the following:

PVP East/West Coast
RPPVP East/West Coast
RP East/West Coast
PVE East/West Coast

Problem solved.

Latency makes this useless for a lot of players

I’m meaning for the USA folks. Not so much the oceanic and south americans. Let’s be real, latency isn’t/shouldn’t be an issue in the USA. I play on Grobb - I have like 15ms.

I’m not on any great internet either, just a base cable package internet. Is it that bad for others in the USA playing on different coasts?

I’m speaking for the Latin American Server folks, we already have a few who would have to stay behind if we decided to go to a west coast because the ping would make it unplayable for them

We had two RPPvP servers Brixtan. It didn’t work out. And two RP servers wouldnt hold out either, given BB’s pop.

I know, but I think it would have been a different story had they had both from the start.

They really screwed the pooch at the beginning by not having enough servers.

This isn’t quite the zinger you seem to think it is.

It’s always interesting to me how people who have no idea how money works within a business interpret things.

It’s like how they think the quarter penny of their taxes which contributed towards something they don’t like is a meaningful thing to be upset about.

I think rationally most of us know how it works. But, that doesn’t make people any less frustrated when nothing is done about it.

Sure people can be frustrated about whatever they want, no one said otherwise.

But if someone wants to lose sleep over their transfer fees going to diversity trainings(somehow directly) then I got no problem judging them for it.

Did they really though? Right now more than half of all the servers they made at the start are dead.

I’m honestly not sure. Part of me thinks through the rose colored glasses of if they had enough servers they wouldn’t have started out so lopsided.

Which then wouldn’t have lead to the rotation of mass transfers which emptied one server and borked another.

So like heartseeker was opened and had a massive ally pop. Killed the horde pretty early on, and then you had incendius which was like perfect ratio so some ally populations that were on lopsided pvp servers hopped over there and scuffed it.

So the cycle of mass transfers sort of started. I mean, I could be totally wrong. But I really feel like more servers at the start, and BGs launching right at p2 would have solve so many issues. Couple that with nerfed gear till ZG as originally intended and we may have had the classic experience we wanted.

Battlegrounds during honor release at least would have made a lot of sense. Honor before battlegrounds was a recipe for disaster as entire raid groups got farmed by PvPers trying to rank. A lot of people quit because of that too.

Had these things not happened im sure the server demographics would look very different today.
