I would say just … increase our base health pool by 5% and lower it to 5%.
It’s too punishing right now after you reincarnate.
This is good but encourages you not to use your reincarnation.
High risk high reward.
Vs
Medium risk medium reward.
They decoupled the health bonus from Reincarnation being off cooldown a while ago. The talent is just an always-on health bonus now.

ele is fine, have you seen where enhance is at right now though? both specs are hurting on survivability but enhance is NOT doing well compared to everyone else this season.
we’re down in the list for average top dps and keys ran right next to surv since week 2 of the season. Really cause of aoe cap. turns out when everyone has what’s best for their spec, it really starts to show you who’s specs are really fleshed out and who’s isn’t.
Pressing only a single button in both aoe and single target for straight 2 seasons is not fine lol.

you’re dumping chain lightning to keep maelstrom high
you’re storm keeping your DRE procs to dump 3-4 Lava beams
you’re dropping double liquid magma totem in really massive pulls for the dmg
just cause ONE ability is the lead in dmg rn doesn’t mean you only push ONE button.
Yall COMPLAINERS make me sick
this like me saying as a frost mage you only push glacial spike cause it’ll usually have a monstrous lead over your other abilities because of how much damage it does in your overall for a key.
Like dawg please get over yourself. Besides the flame shock spread, the spec is pretty fun to play rn.

I play with an Enhance shaman regularly in mythic raid and m+. Neither are great, but ele is not drastically out performing. I have warcraft logs open and can confirm, enhance is not down by survival. I am not saying it is doing great, but I would argue the reason ele is out preforming enhance atm has to do with DRE procs, and from my understanding you don’t take DRE in m+… ele takes it in every form of content. I’m sure most can agree fishing for DRE procs is almost as bad as trying to stay in ascendance the entire time like on ptr, it’s degenerate.
And it’s not that we are a two button spec, it’s the fact that no matter what, it is always more optimal to spam lava burst despite the mob size because of the value gained from DRE; which makes it feel like a two button spec.
If you played ele for more than the last two seasons, you’d know how much they’ve gutted our rotation.
By your own logs, you’re casting chain lightning 40-50 times over a 30 minute dungeon and lava burst 536+… maybe that’s where the two button feeling rotation comes into play

i press pwave ~85 times, earth shock/earthquake around 200-250 times together, and chain lightning/lava beam around 70-90 times combined as well.
We press about 4-5 buttons to do our aoe outside of modifiers (p wave, totemic recall, fire ele)
the setup could be simpler, but it’s still quick when you get used to it, so it’s like people like yall get mad when it’s a piano spec but also when there’s not enough buttons we’re pressing like BRUH. Just say y’all want every class to be BM.
I also find it funny how everyone complaining about the playstyle and rotation is always under 3k. I ain’t saying you gotta be 3k to understand a class but I do find it funny the correlation between complainers and <90% parsers.
the main argument to be made across ALL shaman specs should be that we need defensives. defensives defensives defensives. We can talk about raid/party buffs later but nobody wants to bring specs to keys that can’t stay alive and need to be babysat.
Look at Mythicstats, ehancement is down by survival hunter on multiple weeks. The reason ele is outperforming enhancement is because the “rotation” on enhancement is like 10-12 abilities that is performed like whackamole. Then you’ve got multiple procs to watch on top of all the normal dungeon stuff of not standing in swirlies, etc. It’s far more complicated while being in melee and the salt in the wound is our damage is mediocre even when you do it all right. Just like you always take DRE, we never take DRE because it’s far lower in DPS. Enhancement Stormbuild with DRE was possible for one season mostly for single target iirc, but for at least the last 2 elementalist builds outperform it even in single target. Also due to our “rotation” if things line up we can do big damage and other times not so much. You can see massive disparity in elemental blasts that range from 400k to 1million+ all because things lined up.
Week 6 Ele Avg dps is 51k(14.6%) higher than enhancements and their max dps is 111k(22.4%) higher. That’s why enhancement needed buffs. Mythicstats uses +8 and above keys so these stats aren’t from scrubs.

just to piggy back on this, mythicstats uses the top 2000 runs for the week, and this week (6) is using key ranges +12 - +18. top ele dps is 597k top enhance is 496k. 101k diff lol
enhance not only needed the buffs but needed more to crash lightning. significantly more to crash lightning. the initial cast of crash lightning should hit like a truck but it doesn’t. kinda sad for how cool crash lightning animation is.
I’m not arguing the buttons, my point is the rotation.
And I don’t see the point in doing m+ besides filling my vault and getting my portals. If you’re doing your rotation correctly and pushing keys, of course you will have your 90%+, the majority of player’s don’t go that high. You don’t have to play high level content to have issues with the class. If parses matter, feel free to look at my heroic and mythic.
and yes, enhance is hard to play, there is a skill ceiling with the class while still underperforming
There’s a lot of classes with a 100k difference and it’s not to say that enhance didn’t need it, of course they did, it’s funny that it’s just them that received buffs

All the ppl say ele is fine are always low parse low io in all kind of content.
