I have teams of the same class. It can make farming very efficient.
I still don’t have my Lightforged Draenei warlock leveled yet… I am a slacker!

I have a small army of paladins and warriors for mog farming.
I have like 4 or 5 monks because they used to get a daily experience buff while leveling. It was changed to rested exp gain. When it was a flat % increase to exp, I leveled a bunch of monks for heritage armor.
2 or 3 hunters.
2 or 3 mages.
2 or 3 warriors.
I lose track, but I definitely have multiples of multiple classes. I get bored or decide to play a different faction and it’s cheaper to level than to buy a faction change, plus the added benefit of farming collection stuff.
I play characters, not classes. If I come op with a good idea for a fun character (like Zaahreil there), I make the character. I love writing and this is what makes it the most fun for me. If I don’t feel anything for a character, I don’t keep him. Class does influence it some as I’m not the best at casting classes but I have ended up with at least one of each class.
Classes I like I’ll build another guy of a different race, like a Tauren Rogue, Tauren Monk, one of those fox guys for a hunter. If I run out of rested experience on a character I’ll go play others til it builds back up, could be anything. Not picky. I even have a werewolf.
Will be very helpful in the next expansion.
Let’s see, I have this warlock, an undead warlock, an orc warlock, a human warlock, a void elf warlock and a low level blood elf warlock.
Along with multiples of other classes.
I have 6 hunters and 5 warlocks.
I boosted a 2nd druid and leveled a 3rd because of the world boss hoop jumping (I was maining druid at the beginning of the patch). I eventually got it but no use for 3 x 70 druids.
Well, seems like you have a resto druid, guardian druid, and feral druid. You need a 4th so you can have a balance druid.
I have 3 resto druids. The other specs can take a flying leap off a cliff (and change into bird form on the way down of course).
There are days I feel like I need more character slots then I do. Not only for different races and specs but different genders too.
xmogg lfr runs, different specs, etc
I have a few same class diff characters -
I mainly play two druids
One is resto/balance and the other is Guardian/Feral
I have three pallies for each role
You’re okay!!
Druid x 4
hunter x 8
rogue x 4
mage x 2
Warrior x 1
Paladin x 1
Evoker x 1
Demon Hunter x 1
Death Knight x 1
Monk x1
Shaman x1
and a partridge in a pair tree. I think you’re fine OP. ![]()
I used to wanted to play 1 character per spec but with the time I’ve to play it’s impossible to maintain so many alts. So I cutted to 1 toon per class.
However, I would like to have a Forsaken Shadow Priest and Tauren Elemental Shaman.
I have 3 druids.
The one I do endgamish stuff on, a miner/skinner for some gold farms, and an herber/skinner for some other gold farms.
I have multiple characters of the same class/spec, on the same server. They are all different in their own way.
I have one for each spec. Not all are 70 at the moment.
Just created 2 new hunters today (one of my favorite class for mount farming and cosmetics/pets): One Mechagnome and a Goblin. Not a big fan of the smaller ones, but their heritage sets are too good to ignore - specially when mixed with recent trading post additions (the golden rifle and parts of the wastelander set!)
