I don’t see a problem with this. Some specs only fit with certain races.
Yes, that is the best, you will be so good at it the second time around you can blast through leveling dungeons and low keys and everyone will be surprised
I also have a BM/MM hunter and a survival hunter. Easier gearing
I have 5 mages, 4 warriors, 3 priests, warlocks, druids, DKs, hunters, at least 2 of everything else. Just one evoker so far.
I like leveling alts but besides that, if I want to play a new spec, or one I’ve forgotten, or one I don’t play much that’s had big changes, that’s how learn it best. I have a hard time switching to something unfamiliar at max level and immediately seeing how it’s all supposed to fit together.
You’re definetly not alone, OP! I have 9 warriors, 6 hunters, 4 druids, the list goes on.
Having more of the same class, provide you like it, can be useful for a multitude of reasons:
- you could use 1 character per spec;
- different races, different xmog looks; heritage, etc
- professions or mount farming; some classes are way more optimal for mount farming than others due to speed abilities, such as rogues, monks, etc
bottom line is, having fun is what really matters, whether you have 1 or 50 of the same class. I’ve recently created a forsaken survival hunter just because I always wanted one, even after having a lot of other hunters. I love the spec gameplay and the looks of the undead models. you can also match xmog looks with pets and mounts
Oh dude i have 4 geared characters of the same class. Well aware I have a problem, not sure if it’s one I want to solve tho ![]()
I have like 3 paladins, 2 warlocks, 3 warriors, 3 mages, 2 hunters, 2 priests, and 2 DKs all at max level.
Well ya know when certain races are perfect for certain classes you just got to make one of each right? You have to have a Nelf Hunter. But Trolls are perfect for Hunters too so you have to make one of them also. Oh wait, Dwarves make perfect Hunters as well. And come on, Worgen Hunter right? So that’s one class, on to the next!
At least 10 of my 50 characters on retail are warriors
At least 3 of those warriors are on the same server
I have 7 warriors. I’m maxed out on character slots, most characters are max level.
Transmog/mount farming is my main game. I also just like making characters and coming up with backstories. More slots please.
I play BM hunter and I have at least 4 to five of them. I also have at least 3-4 feral druids too. The reason why I play both these classes so much is because they are so much fun and I like DPS-ing a lot.

Do not ask how many level 70 Gnomes* that are hunters, priests, druids.

*a small number of these may not be Gnomes but want to be… badly.
Aesthetic differences between the races
To have one on each faction
I wanted X races heritage armor and leveling Y was the easiest class among those available
I wanted to level something again so here we go
I’m guilty of all of these and it’s why my account is a complete mess.
ROFL I have at least two of every class and three or more of others. I have like 16 or 17 Hunters and 9 or 10 Paladins. I’m to the point now where I only know how many alts I have when threads like this pop up and I count them.
I used to do this more but they’ve been left beyond now days
I have 4 level 70 Warlocks and 5 level 60+ Warlocks.
Now that all the races can be Warlocks it is my goal to eventually have one Warlock for all races and leveled up to max.
I have many vulpera mages on various realms, all for farming mounts and pets purposes.
I have night elf and tauren druids. I have a human paladin and am leveling lightforged draenai and dark iron paladins for the heritage armor. I also have a blood elf paladin in the roster. I have a worgen monk and will probably level a vulpera monk for the heritage armor. I have both void elf and blood elf priests…
