2 Characters of the same class?

I have a level 70 gnome MM hunter.
For some reason I really like this Void Elf Survival Hunter.
I need people to help me feel emotionally better about myself for leveling a 2nd Hunter, LOL.
Have any of you have 2 of the same class leveled, and if so, why?

Yes. I, too, like dedicating a single character to a spec. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Sometimes, the racials even help justify that. For instance, I have both a lightforged paladin and a draenei paladin. My tank makes better use of the draenei’s healing racial while my ret pally makes use of the lightforge’s racial nuke.

I have up to 3 characters of the same class at 70.
The current season system makes it easy to start over every cycle.
Sometimes it’s because of transmog, sometimes it’s just to change things up a bit.

There’s nothing wrong with having fun, it is a game after all.

I have 5 max level Mages, and 3 max level Priests… They each have their own reason for existing, but the biggest justification for me is to have more weekly opportunities at transmog :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s okay. I’ve made 8 separate blood death knights to replay old expansions and whatnot.

I have at least one of each class on each faction. There’s so many different races and class/specs to experience you need alts. My hunters on Horde side are both blood elves because I wanted a farstrider and a dark ranger.

It might make you feel better when you have bad luck on one of your hunters regarding loot.
The other hunter might get good drops

Use one for all your world, raid, and dungeon stuff. Then use the other exclusively for PvP. Instead of swapping out talents and gear sets, just log to a different toon already set up. If you do vault content, it’s nice to not feel like you need to choose between PvE and PvP pieces. I have 2 priests and mages for that reason.

I have multiple Blood Elf MM hunters. One has a red outfit with red hair, one has a brown outfit with orange hair. They both have red arrows in their quiver. One is all purple with purple hair, clothes and arrows. And my main is sleak with tights and blond hair.

My Blood Elf warlocks have different outfits as well. I repeated a lot of this for my Void elves.

High elves know we look good and we like to dress to kill.

In bfa I swapped to alliance and made a 2nd dh since it was one less toon to server and faction change.

I used to keep one of each class when I no-lifed this game, but now that you can level a character up in a couple days, I have just been doing that since I started playing again.

There’s a reason we have 60 character slots for only 13 classes

I have multiples of every class. Hell, I have 6 ret paladins!

I actually dusted off my other Priest last week and started gearing him up. Same faction, same exact talents- just a different race. I don’t even know why exactly, except I enjoy playing Holy and I’m pretty close to being as geared as I’m gonna get on this character.
