2 Active Players No Server Transfer

When I’m in any zone, including SW I’ll type /who all and show 2-4 players online, total, on the Westfall server. The server is locked, so no players can join forcing the population to be dead. Sadly I didn’t realize this until after I bought a token so I could get flying to quest faster. Now I’m either forced to play on a dead server or pay for a transfer, costing me even more money, just so I can experience the online community I play for.

Seems like a blatant way to get more money out of consumers and it’s in line with shady business practices I’ve come to expect from companies like Ubisoft and EA but not Blizzard.

I no longer play any Ubisoft or EA games because of how they treat their consumers and I can’t imagine doing that with Blizzard because I love their games so much (traditionally) but D4, OW2, and now possibly WoW are just being pushed off the side for me. I’m not sure how many times I’ll keep coming back.

The gap between the times I play Blizzard games is getting longer and longer, and I may stop playing them altogether as I realize that taking advantage of their consumer base seems to be the only way they know how to be profitable.

Free transfers exist off that server. Go to the character select screen and look at the shop there.

Well I feel really dumb now. I used shop in game and had a fee. Didn’t know it was different at character screen. Thank you!
