I was honestly afraid of doing this dungeon as a tank because of the suppose “1 shot” mechanic but then didn’t take any damage at all it felt like lol.
it was apparently nerfed 30% on the 9th, I just saw the patch notes. Going to test it out some tonight.
If youre running around trying to tank with 10% versatility that is just the tip of iceberg in regards to mistakes.
whatever dude, I got KSM last season no problems with 10% vers. U have no idea what you’re talking about.
Im sorry i stand corrected. I didnt know Paladins stack mastery now. I would have never guessed.
Secondaries aren’t making or breaking tanks in lower keys. And not every class is the same.
The 2nd highest IO score in the world right now is a prot pally with 14% vers. If he can do +28’s with 14% vers, this mans can do a +7 with 10% lmao.
Pop a defensive.
nope there’s no way around it. You just have to take the hit because he wont lock on until he’s actual charging and by that time you really can’t dodge him at all
uhmm sorry but what? 1 shot on a +4? And in a fort week no less as a 280 tank? Sorry but I’m guessing this is a skill issue.

vers and mastery are fairly equal for prot. Depending on what you think you need. 1st off mastery is kinda useless if you’re not standing on your concecrete while vers is a flat dmg reduction. So each there own in terms of how they want to play the game. And yes I do play a prot pally on the side so I’m pretty familiar w/ the class
Then you’re doing it wrong. I did it last week and the damage was negligible on +16s.
The only thing I can suggest for tanks that are doing this fight, do not try to chase the goblin with the brute, you’ll only take unnecessary damage and you’ll make it more difficult for your melee or ranged to drop their ground effects.
What I do is keep the brute relatively still until the Goblin jumps to the boxes and then I take the Brute to the boxes. You have more than enough time to get in position, back against the boxes before he charges.
