I mean seriously was the first charge. It was on Sunday, so it was Tyrannical but still. it shouldn’t hit that hard.

I had a guardian druid tank a 12 last week, and I did a 14, neither of us were hit nearly hard enough to be 1 shot, I did use rune tap then but thats only 20% reduction
We didn’t do any tricks to make him not hurt us by hugging the boxes or anything, he’s usually about 10-15 yards away and then does his charge as normal, we never tried to run out or anything either
Like, do you run backwards or something when he charges and it like ticks multiple times or something?

There was a post on this last week before reset on this boss. This one guy made this point which seemed to be a consensus from several people. Basically you need to have your back against the box
Lol, how are you getting one shot? It barely does damage on a +18 on Tyrannical.
-Are you standing in Consecration
-Do you have your front facing the big guy
-Do you have SoTR stacks

It seems like if he is right up against the box as he charges you dont take the dmg.

I may have been moving backwards but my combat log showed only one hit.
I really wish I was making this up, My entire group was shocked. Looks like i just need to keep my back up against the boxes and pop a cd anyway.
I ran into this as well, the charge was hitting our tank for around 145k on a +4 last week. I also did a +8 and we had no problems with the damage, it did make 30-40% hp but far from a one shot. Definitely something weird happening with this a ability.
Did you turn around to run to the box and it hit your back?

Well I learned that much like some raid bosses, you need to watch your spacing while standing behind this boss. I had made the mistake of using fel rush and while repositioning myself I apparently clipped into him a bit. So when he did his dash, it killed me as well.
It does…if the tank turns to run to the goblin and takes the charge to the back.
I’ve seen it 1 shot a Druid.
tank has to make like a Fed Ex truck and back up.

I got pretty chunked by it last week on Tyrannical… But they did nerf the damage of it the other day. The nerf, coupled with it being fort, you definitely shouldn’t be dying to it now.

He’s 280 and doing sub +10’s and apparently getting 1 shot from this. Stacking vers isn’t going to help lol…
It’s fortified and damage has been nerfed. Maybe half his gear was broken? Idk lol. Legit can’t think of anything else.
I’ve had so many tanks that get one shot by it and need to heal a DPS through the fight 
i’m fairly certain you’d be wrong too. i’ve only escaped the charge once on any of my tanks, the rest were all 1 shot.
added: just read there was a nerf- this was all based from last week’s experiences. haven’t ran any yet this week… prob start tomorrow.
this is really puzzling. i have yet to see any tanks die to it.
