197 iLevel Cap Casual PVP

Non-competitive PVP?

And of course, your sub fee gives you access to the available content, like everyone else.

What makes a fair match non competitive?

I’m questioning how he can be asking for non competitive content in a very specifically competitive game style.

They’re absolutely similar in that if you find an organized group to play with, it’s a much better experience. That is the point on my post, once you get the intro gear the best experience after is going to be with a regular team.

You already lost me. I encourage you to go back and read the very vast differences.

Congrats you ignored the actual points and went in on a similarity that’s completely irrelevant to the points made? Your argument is only relevant when talking about solo que :joy:

I didn’t realize that we were going to gatekeep and dictate what the term casual means instead of discussing genuine issues with the gearing system.

When did they add solo que to the system? it really only applies to random bgs not to anything rated

Queued content isn’t the gearing path to get the best stuff. It’s not hard to understand. It gets you prepped to go to the next level.

If you want to end one shots because of gear, ilevel brackets. If it’s true that many people aren’t doing unrated because of overmatched opponents, they’ll come back which will keep queues down. No need for crazy scaling if you just put people in the right place.

There isn’t any gatekeeping. If you want higher ilvl gear then do the activities that award higher gear.

It’s not a hard concept.

The only issues there are is people wanting free gear for logging in.

I mean in BFA I had 5 gear sets on my lock at one time.

I don’t know why the actual heck blizz dosen’t implement brackets, or I level capping, on regular unraked pvp. I just want fun, I want the chance to win.

The thread didn’t ask for free gear. The thread requested brackets for queued PvP.

Did you seriously just compare a random bg to a mythic raid?

Take a step back and breath a bit maybe.

That idea is a terrible one

Because its a bad idea.

Another bad idea

Because its unranked no rules BG mode.

You have a chance to win every BG

Yeah some people have poor reading comprehension. I have to agree with you on that one.

Why ? Because you wont be able to delete 100 ilevel people with you 300 ilevel ?

If not, tell me why having a better phased progression and a more fair battlefield are bad ideas.

Bracket could be amazing if applied correctly, could give a good feeling of progression on pvp, getting from the lower brackets to the higher ones.

Ilevel capping would prevent external advantages from taking place, leaving it to skill and hroup coordination.

Because if you bracket the BGS then que times will be much worse.

Tell me why punishing the majority because the minority don’t like having to put effort into their gear is a good thing.

No actually it wouldn’t. Again it would kill when times.

That’s what rated is for.

This right here is the solution. Thank you.

Can you explain why you think so?
