Every season 1 people forget that the 50,000 gladiator players have to play like 30 to 40 games before they aren’t 1600 also

Try fixing your gameplay instead of blaming others when it’s obviously a “you” problem.
That is one perspective. Unfortunately the “get gud” course of action does not inspire player participation, in fact quite the opposite. The SKILL debate needs to be held by those with skill up in the super high brackets where they belong, not at 1400.
Also does not help that there is a significant financial incentive to offer services to players as well. High end peeps do not have 20 accounts for fun lol.
In the big picture of things, making pvp a toxic hell hole that the majority of players avoid, helps to keep focus on Blizzard bread and butter, raids and mythic plus.
Mmr didn’t reset between s3 and s4 in df.
I got back to duelist in like a week and got my first elite because shuffle rating was so stupid easy to get.

Look we all know that 99% of the player base will never read the forums or care. This is a place for the “LEET” players on their alt accounts to toot their own horns at other leets and see if anyone is talking about them lol. Its also a good place where us normal players can thumb our noses at them, rightfully so for turning fun pvp into a sweat grind rampant with shady transactions.
I BET YOU, every R1 streamer covers their face when leaving the house imagining the paparazzi are waiting with cameras lol.
There’s that many PvP gladiators? It feels like there aren’t even 50,000 PvPers at times.
Imo sl glad mounts were easy to get due to ret war being insanely op… just a great zug comp for any arena die hard.
If a casual baddie like me can beat teams full of Glad mounts just to get my 1600 token, then it would not be a stretch to think that many of the mounts were purchased via cash.
yep vsing multiglads in 3s at 1700 consistently, also played streamers too at that MMR.

They gave us a new BG map though. They also want us Queing the new hotness that is RBG Blitz and the future of PvP. It’s all in Blizz plan to finally have a good format for PvP to grow participation that is marketable for Esports.
Arena is a mini-game that most PvP player don’t do. BGs, WPvP, open world content brawls, Blitz that is where people will be.

I hit 1800 on this monk and I had to take a 24 hour break because I was so stressed out. I’ve never fought more multiglads in my life. I’m pleased with how well I played against them but punching that far above my weight game after game was so mf stressful
