you forget to add breadland.
Don’t worry, the usual crowd will just pop up to tell them they are just being lazy and to move to a state with more jobs using the money they don’t have.
Most likely NO.
Security on builds is taken highly serious.
Yea i have other posts regarding how horrible CA is in general. But also some of that can be reduced by commuting. Idk how much that helps in CA being one giant dumpster fire. But ya. But also just out of college likely no kids not married. 60k in most places in the country is well beyond comfortable.
Lol. Its not a weird way to describe a state so inflated in values they force the companies to pay way above average incomes just to live. While they constantly legislate themselves into a much worse position economically all the time.
The GDP of California is growing by 6% compared to the previous years. So… those legislative decisions aren’t showing signs of impending doom, nor have they for 20 years.
It’s okay to have an opinion that CA is a hell hole. Some parts are, we call it Fresno. The major cities are generally fine, but overpopulated. People are fine, just too many people though. Homelessness in particular is hard to solve, it’s more than just drugs – mental health is a big factor; and dying of exposure is tragic regardless of the political majority of the state.
The major cities are the worst. Literal maps of poop spottings. And when mapped out literally will fill in the entire cities for you. On top of that homeless every where. Crime is so bad many cities are having profitable business leaving. Its on fire basically every month. The laws are the most authoritarian in the country. The wages and cost of things are so inflated compared to most of the country its insane. I live on the outskirts of a major city in another state. And i would have to make almost 300x the amount i do to have a slightly worst standard of living. The only reason california generates as much as it does is its inflated incomes and high taxes are massively more money than almost any other state. That doesnt make the economy better. That means its likely to completely collapse. Especially with Gavin at the wheel
It even shows on the site that the pay range is 19-35 an hour. Reading must be hard. With that being said, they want to many skills to be paying less than $20 an hour starting
pretty sure you need to be less male and less white to get that job.
This is a Fox News talking point. It’s designed to create fear. Crime can be bad, yes; but it’s also “just” the cities. The state is far more than LA and SF, and Mountain View to a lesser extent. For example, you’re completely disregarding the city of Oakland telling the owner of the Oakland Athletics to shove it when they wanted the city to pay for a new stadium the city wouldn’t get to own. (This is largely why the Raiders moved to Las Vegas.) I forget the estimate, but I think it was $800 million. The people would rather fix the city instead of gifting billionaires prime bay-front land in CA.
If it was profitable to close shop, then people would close shop. And to a certain degree, that’s going to happen as non-local businesses seek more profit.
Not really. It’s more like “every day.” But big fires aren’t common. Less common than Earthquakes, actually. California is a huge state. People on the east coast generally underestimate it.
Since the largest parts in the economy are related to housing, a crash in the economy means more accessible housing. This would be great. Tens of thousands of empty homes owned by banks and companies who also buy up all the neighborhoods, (just to rent them out) suffer huge losses in a state-wide housing bubble burst.
Cali is FUBAR, That state is just pathetic at this point in all areas. Worse thing is, all the people who voted this crap and to help make it the way it is, Are now moving to other states so they can do the same there… You just can’t even make this crap up anymore.
Wonder why blizz loves it so much there?
This is like saying, “Texas is screwed”, but you only refer to Austin or Houston.
People who lack nuance don’t care about the problems, they’d rather let someone else fix them, and blame them for trying. Lol.
Your take is rich with irony.
Especially when the Governor of Cali, Gavin Newsome JUST released a commercial ad with real actors pretending a cop pulled over a pregnant woman in a red State to take her to jail for trying to have an abortion.
You are incredibly rich with irony, and I hope you grow up out of being as brainwashed as you are. Sincerely. So we can vote properly sooner than later.
I know right wing propaganda has given people some serious brain worms when it comes to the topic of CA, but calling it an authoritarian state with all the hijinks deep red states get up to is a hell of a take.
What?!
I legit said the entire state is FUBAR and you come back with:
“This is like saying, “Texas is screwed”, but you only refer to Austin or Houston”
No one in cali is trying to fix anything. Its why people are leaving in droves.
Like what are you on kiddo? I lost brain cells with you. I think thats enough interwbews for one day…
Like what!?! LOL
Do you know what FUBAR means? Cause I never said it was authoritarian… Like my god folks do you KNOW HOW TO READ?!
I said its FUBAR, and yes because of the bad voting people have done there to destroy the state. Not because of some propaganda and such.
My god you people will read into and pull out whatever you want from words.
Now Tell me what a woman is. FULL STOP
Is it? I haven’t seen the commercial myself. I don’t have cable TV. I pay more attention to local news, since that’s where politics matter more in 99% of cases.
I read about the recent Arizona abortion law. I assume it’s related. Did Arizona criminalize abortion?
And before you say “Trolling,”, I’m 100% genuine.
Google it, I’m sure it’s on Youtube and TikTok and Insta since Gavin Newsome (eh hem) targets, the younger generation (eh hem) for votes.

I don’t watch Fox. I can critically see the stats and analyze them. I was a stat analyst for half a decade.
-
I may live on the east coast but I was born in Cali. Lived in the west coast for 20 years. And go to California for business quite often on travel.

housing is heavily moderated and regulated by political regulations and rules for zoning. This is what creates how expensive housing is.
I mean I appreciate this breakdown. it allowed me to prove point by point you just make a bunch of incorrect assumptions about me and how the economy works to disagree with me.
