15 renown for flying is ridiculous

Only Blizzard would take the worse version of flight and lock it behind the worst aspect of the entire game.

Geniuses, all of them.

I love threads where people argue on behalf of the silent new person to hide behind getting what they personally want.

I love how these people also make these complaints using the phrase “new player experience” when refering to a new expansion feature despite the new player starting at lvl 1 on exiles reach then going to bfa/sl. It has nothing to do with the new player experience

It is pretty stupid. I’ll never use normal flying anyway but given for a lot of people it’s supposedly an accessibility option, locking it behind all this nonsense seems a bit much.

It’s a recurring theme.

Like when the people who level 500 new alts every year (and do nothing else, it seems) have convinced Blizzard to butcher the leveling experience.

Because they kept saying “this is old content, new players shouldn’t have to do it”.

It’s NOT “old content” for new players. It’s the 18 years of content THAT THEY JUST PAID FOR and you want to steal it from them.

It’s just projecting, and one of the latest forum weasel tactics. If you say “but what I want will be good for new players” people think it will convince people.

(It doesn’t. Everyone sees right through it.)

Legit had someone use that the other day complaining about the old world content vanilla-legion being bad for new players :rofl::rofl:. Then when I pointed out the flaw it suddenly became a different arguement about how its completely neglected to which I pointed out every expansion has added new content in the old world and I would happily wait for him to show me otherwise. I’m still waiting.

Fun mitigation?

It shows the lack of compassion a lot of people have as they exposes themselves in this very thread.

I do not have disability or motion sickness but I can see that this is a bad, bad move by BlizZard.

Specifically. What about pathfinder acquisition relates to disability or motion sickness?

I did. Would you mind quoting where people specifically point out how the acquisition process hurts people with disabilities or motion sickness?

You can do it yourself.

Well.

I read the thread.

At no where I saw where anyone pointed out how the acquisition process hurts people with disabilities.

People have said that only having dragonflying does. But that’s irrelevant to the process of unlocking regular flying.

I can’t find a single thing about the pathfinder process that hurts people with the listed dragonflying disabilities or motion sickness.

No you didn’t read the thread.

Thanks for proving to everyone that you do not care about those with disabilities or motion sickness.

Your lack of empathy is very telling.

I would like to have empathy.

I am not asking you to retype everything out again. I know your time is sensitive and you don’t want to repeat yourself. Regardless of the fact you have posted how you are going to dodge this same question multiple times in a row.

Which renown do you find one is unable to do with motion sickness or disabilities?

BlizZard is unwilling to fix bugs that were reported since DF beta but not unexpected from them.

As a returning player with no high renown characters (serial alts all day every day), I did some calculations and doing pathfinder is pointless. Now that I have the glyphs, the dragon still annoys me, but not as much or collectively as long as pathfinder will annoy me. I am willing to accept the dragon as a lesser of too inconveniences.

Plus every time Blizzard does a pathfinder like this (it was fine in SL, don’t know what happened?) I insist on being part of the metric that doesn’t do it. I successfully grounded myself in wod, legion and bfa. I can make it without doing it in df too.

So that just leaves the huge “feels bad man” clouding the people who can’t fly the dragon at all. I can fly it, just kind of poorly and I hate how it requires so much attention. Once I get catchup on this character I may go back to legion or bfa where mining prices are better than df AND I can normal fly. Make some money, queue for some instances, it’s gonna be way better than the weeks needed to do pathfinder.

you dont speak for anyone but yourself. lol.
yeah
SOME new player is going to have the same problems with DRing sooner or later and want old flight.
and because of PF, they’ll either quit or just not play DF content if thats their choices.

What you all have to come in here trolling is beyond me.
Literally doesnt affect you or your games, but you feel the NEED to make sure to keep jabbing at lesser abled players just because you can do it.

YOU got DRing day ONE for ZERO grinding.
Id keep THAT fact in mind while chirping about this issue to others.
