$15 a month + cost the the actual game + micro transactions

Yeah, all of it is bad and puke flavored. Sorry to tell you.

There should never, ever, EVER be an ingame shop in a SUBSCRIPTION game.

I do not agree with the practices in any game of this type… I am stating facts that most of you fail to realize… Everyone wants to complain all day about blizzard this bliz that but trust me go play another mmo or another game by activision tell me how greedy this game really is for selling a couple mounts and pets…

What other way is there to put it. It’s common sense.

Why greedy? It is a gaming service you either find value in (and thus you buy it), or you don’t. Or you could also play the game enough to play for free - this is another option that counters the greed angle.

Greedy is a term better used for when pharma companies up the price of critical, buy-or-you-die, medicine by 8,000% one year.

If you have to sacrifice game integrity, even if by a small amount, in order to make a bit of extra cash, you just suck as a game developer.

Yeah, those people were your fellow tweens. Because tweens are impressed by cosmetics. Nearly everyone here is in their thirties. What impresses them is paying off a mortgage or finding a babysitter who can change a diaper. You want to impress people with a fancy skin, Fortnite is right over there.

So it’s bad for them to give me a free mount for paying for a sub for 6 months up front instead of doing recurring payments for 15 bucks (which is what I was already doing)? I just saved myself money in the long run for a sub fee and I was already planning on playing for 6 months.

So far I’ve been having a lot of fun with my friends in this expansion and the patch too. Thrive on causing drama?

This argument sucks when I know for a fact there are grown adults that pay real money for mounts.

And some of us have invested time and money in wow instead of those games because it didn’t use to have a store like them. Heck, up until WoD there were like 3-4 mounts in the store for a few years.

Just because other games have huge stores. it doesn’t mean wow should take note of that. I personally prefer subscription based games where you can earn everything in the game by, you know, playing the game, instead of buying it.

Why would we continue to play this game if it’s becoming like other mmos but with a subscription on top of it?

Have any of you done the math… I mean seriously… 77 dollars for 6 months and a mount??
Where is the greed in that sale?

Wanting to earn it ingame should be incentive enough to subscribe, and if you need to bribe people with a mount to play your game, you don’t have enough incentives

Let’s be real and ask a good question, at what point do you guys think WoW might not be worth $15 a month for the practices and sacrifices that it does?

You’re over 10 years too late to this complaint party.

It’s always time for some good changes

Again COSMETICS not to mention server transfers race and faction changes ect… Nothing that give a person an advantage. If you Don’t like it don’t use it. At the end of the game it does nothing to harm you.

What ever happen to you either buy the mount or don’t and we all move on with are day?

The current system is fine.

Don’t want the mount? Don’t buy it. No one is forcing your hand. It’s an optional cosmetic.

Like I said, you get this for defeating the most powerful sorceress. A cosmetic you earn should be way better than this. On the same quality as the Sylverian mount.

Rewards are still from earning them, however they have become lesser over time.

They buy mounts for themselves, not to impress anyone. Because the keyword there is “ADULTS”.

That model is fine… it’s actually unique. Yes it uses a similar skeleton to other models for its animations, but visually its unique. You do realize that the store mount also uses a similar skeleton to mounts that already exist in the game yes?

Yes, because you absolutely know what everyone buys these mounts for.

I sense compensation.

Even if it’s “fine”, do you want something that drops from Azshara to be fine, or great?
