$15 a month + cost the the actual game + micro transactions

Is getting out of hand. $15 a month + cost the the actual game + micro transactions (new mount, etc) seems excessively greedy. The argument can be made that you don’t have to buy the stuff but why not implement it in the game in the first place that you already pay for.

Yes, you’re pretty late into realizing this. About maybe 3 years too late.

You are able to purchase all mounts through accumulating gold in game.

How is that any different than purchasing a mount in game from a vendor with gold?

Maybe they should just switch over to a 501(b) and we can do good works.

This is a business. You want this business to do well, irregardless of how you “feel”.

Queue all the blizzard drones that’ll throw every penny they have at them

No answer to my question?

How is it different using in game gold to purchase a token to buy a mount, when compared to using in game gold to go to a vendor to buy a mount?

I mean, at that point the store mounts are typically cheaper than the vendor mounts.

They won’t answer your question as they haven’t formed their own opinion. This is the Asmongold take, and there’s no reason here.

It’s so pathetic that you openly support it and you’re one of the reasons why they get away with this

The 15 is to give you access to the servers. The cost of the expansion is for the content that comes out for that expansion… The st ore is just pretty items that the y make that are extras as well as some account functions… and apparently you can get all with in game gold. Not 100% sure on that but yes your right you don’t have to bye it. Its just a cosmetic and there are plenty go good mounts and cool looking mounts you can get that are not in the shop… Why do people keep bringing this up?

Support Blizzard making money? Damn right. Not all content or extras apply to you. That’s okay. I haven’t done a faction change, but it’s still available. Even though I personally don’t want it, I would never take the option away from other players. See the difference?

Gold making is still there, and I’ve made a ton this expansion. You just have to do something to earn it. Its not given to you non stop, just for logging on.

What about taking away quality from achievement mounts?

Here’s what you get for defeating the most powerful sorceress this entire franchise has ever known.

Everything has a price.

“The argument can be made” sounds like you have an argument you’re trying to make. Are you?

And 2 years ago, Gul’dan was the most powerful mob in the game. Big rip.

I don’t see how your statement defends what I was getting at. All I’m getting from this is a chunk of nihilism vibe.

It would seem he said that you could make the argument that you don’t have to buy it. His argument though, is why not implement it ingame if we already pay for it. Why sacrifice our quality for cheap stuff that you have to pay even more money for to get?

Another stupid comment. No, it’s not. Mission tables, world quests, professions all dwarf in comparison to what legion offered gold wise. If you’re suggesting selling runs, then yes maybe, any other way is incredibly monotonous and would make more sense to use real world money if your time is worth anything at all

You read it right. I’m not defending your position at all.

I actually really like that one. More than any of the cash shop ones.

You read it wrong, I’m saying you have not successfully defended your point.

Edit: Woops, looked back and I typed it a certain way. However still, my implication stands.

Thanks for pointing out exactly what I said. You got a ton of gold in WoW merely for logging on and doing no work. (Mission Tables).

Without trying I’ve made about 2m gold this expansion alone. I know people that have actually tried and made a ton more.

And no, I am not suggesting selling runs.

Some of us are fine being able to make gold without it being handed to us. :man_shrugging:
