15-3 BGB still no mmr change

Hi.

Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this issue.

I have gone 15-3 and have had little mmr change. I always end up in 1400 games.

I noticed an mmr tracker and assumed if I won I would get higher mmr games. I know there is a limited amount of people playing but thought id see some natural progression by now.

Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

Thanks.

I’m assuming BGB is blitz brawl?

My rating has been going up and down just fine. Last night I started the day with a team rating in the upper 1700’s and won 7 out of 10 games. My rating climbed to 2000+.

I lost the last game of the night so I’m assuming when I do more bltiz brawls later my rating will be between 1850 and the upper 1900s.

But it’s also a bit random what teams you are placed in. So the lower and upper team ratings are probably outliers to test you out. If your average rating is in the 1800’s, once in awhile you’ll be placed in a 2000+ team game to see if you are up to the task. And once in awhile you will be placed in the 1500 bracket to see if you are capable of winning a match you should be winning.

Yeah it is. My point is that I can win 6-7 in a row and still be in the 13-1400 bracket lol. Maybe its just the time of day I play?

Probably…

I do most of my blitz brawls around 6 to 10PM eastern time USA. A lot more players makes the distribution more representative of where your team rating should be.

I don’t think the blitz has actual mmr yet since it’s not official rated til next expac

Why does Blitz mmr matter right now?

There is a tracker.

No, but it has a team rating. You can see it in the summary while waiting 2 minutes for the actual match to start.

It doesnt really just wondering is all. I like to test things and facilitate discussion/feedback so the feature is polished when the proper rated version goes live.

I never said it was an ideal measurement. But it does give you a general idea of where you probably end up when it does go live. Again, it’s not perfect by any standard. It’s obviously still a work in progress. But if you are struggling to get above 1800 team rating now, you will probably struggle even more when it goes live. Or who knows… maybe you’ll do even better because they’ll be a lot more weaker players particiapting.

And personally, my highest arena rating was 1860, so it makes sense most of my blitz brawls are also in the 1800 to 1950 team rated bracket.

I get that. My point is I feel I should be going up mmr after winning 6-7 in a row. But if other people are climbing maybe it is just a once off thing on my end.

It could be your individual mmr is going up, but being offset by players on your team
