14k queue, ya Blizzard you're brilliant

There were people that left Grobb for Deviate Delight too (I was one of them eventually).
I was on Grobb Phase 1 of Classic and left at the start of Phase 2 Classic.

The problem is; Deviate Delight straight up died and by the time my guild left…we were one of the last raiding Alliance guilds on the server leaving.

Server consolidation and lack of server population balance is the issue. They should have hard-capped server populations (like Grobbs) at a far lower aggregate sever population so that people who wanted to transfer had to choose other available/viable servers, rather than continuing to pile into an ever dwindling pool of viable servers.

Except people may like the server they are on.

Exactly. This is 100% Blizzard’s fault.

Yeah. I always told myself that if queues ever got too bad on Grobb I would go to DD. Now that’s no longer an option and I have nowhere else to go.

This is all Blizzard’s fault as they allowed mass groups of people to transfer off servers killing them overnight. One faction entirely disappears because they can’t handle world pvp or the server has become too imbalanced to play from others leaving and so the opposing faction either leaves or the server is now effectively pve server. Everyone ofcourse migrates to the biggest servers and so it’s either play on a mega server or a dead server. This is a huge problem and I don’t see a solution.

Bro if you’re worried about “server identity” you seriously need to touch grass. What a ridiculous term. We have gender identity, cultural identity, political identity and now SERVER identity lol. Thanks for the laugh though.

Good thing everyone is worried about that, that is why you cannot play cross server. use a tiny bit of brain power and just think about it.

Well said. I’ve been on Grobb since day one as well. I might, might consider a transfer to another RP-PVP server, but it’s a hard no transferring to pve or just straight pvp.

“let me cry for no reason, simp”

All these posts about queues like no one thought it would happen.

Nobody is worried about “server identity” and people that claim so…are trolling. You’re welcome.

I think you mean, the faction died because people didnt want to play with 10k people and wanted to play with 30k instead… because “well my third alt cant find a normal mana tombs run at 3am DEAD SERVER”

Played on Earthfury. It died for absolutely no reason. Just a bunch of bandwagoners who would rather pay $25 per character to be an anonymous character in a massive server and not care one second about the impact your decision is having.

Deal with your queues and stop blaming everyone else. You paid for what you got.

Sorry not sorry

You play on Grobbulus and are mocking someone who cares about server identity?

confused face

Not sure what point you’re trying to make but thx for playing, I guess.

i disagree it was all players fault people leaving realms with 5k+ players to go to realms with 10k+ players

we made the mega servers and now we have to sit in ques because people wanted higher pop realms

It was all over the forums when classic came out and it is why you cannot join friends cross server, so idk what youre on about

Well than sparky, be part of the solution and transfer off to a less populated server.

There is a fix,
Its called Cross Realm
But no one wants it.

Instead we get Mega Servers or Dead servers
