Blizzard is actually responsible for the ridiculous population of Benediction, though. They could have easily not let it happen, but instead they actively encouraged players to flock there even though their infrastructure can’t handle that many players.

I had a 92 minute queue with over 5000 waiting on Skyfury tonight – how is that because I “chose a megaserver” exactly? FFS, this server didn’t exist a week ago.

Soo around 11am eastern time no Que… 11:30 no Que. I see if Que pops around noon and it’s 92 mins (ends up taking 2 hours.) so you’re telling me on a work night at 10pm eastern that there’s 13k people in Que for a 300 min wait…
I smell forcing players to switch servers only to be met with a dead server months down the line and having to pay money to switch back… what a scam.

And by scam I mean intentionally lying about Que times to force people off… can’t understand how a 30 min difference would result in a 2 hour Que time… insane.

I’ve been on Grobbulus since day 1, and it certainly wasn’t a mega server back then. The only thing I chose was to play with the Emerald Dream community because I had been on that server since MoP.

the ques are our problem cuase we all went to certain servers creating mega servers with 15k+ people
i dont have any server knowledge aside from the FCM not sure what else can be done
I also (not this character) joined Grobb on Day 1, and I remember distinctly all of the people saying that it was DOA as a server. Now, I wasn’t full level there, and I started WOTLK on fresh. But, if I were to log into my level 40-something character currently on Grobb and have a 4 hour queue (versus the 92 min on fresh and counting lol) would that be MY fault? Some of this is just making no sense whatsoever.
Who controls transfers?

Getting really tired of being told to “take the free transfer” when some of us chose Grobb when classic launched in 2019 specifically because it is an RP server and yet we should leave our RP server for a non-RP server to fix Blizzard’s screw up?
