It’s just another Asian game with over flashy effects, likely gender locked classes, and absurd animations.

I might give it a go in a few days, from watching people play it it looks more like a single player leveling experience, which I dislike
The idea of an MMOARPG just doesn’t have any appeal to me.
I had to watch a video to even see what kind of game it actually was since almost nobody here has even hinted at it when comparing it to WoW.
They aren’t really the same thing at all.
WoW and FF14 are at least the same kind of game.
Lost Ark is just an ARPG in a persistent world. Diablo/PoE but the server doesn’t close when you log out.
If someone showed me a gameplay video from Lost Ark and said “Hey, check out this new clip from Diablo Immortal” I honestly don’t know if I would be able to tell the difference.

That’s my big issue with it. I can’t really get invested in F2P MMOs
So, I’ll probably give it a try…but because I probably won’t spend money on it I will be missing QoL features and tire of it quickly.
By not buying a package you already start the game missing the auto loot pet everyone else has

The reason there is so much content to do in Lost Ark is because it hasn’t been done yet lol.
Once the content has been done and the honeymoon phase is over then we’ll see how much people continue to play, game is updated, etc.

I was one, games not that good at all. I don’t mind running sims because Classic
but that was too much and not worth the risk of my PC melting lmao.
Took a look for it’s classes. Didn’t see anything about races (so its just humans)? If the classes are gender-locked like it looks to be, then I’m not touching it.
I’m kind of burnt out on MMO’s. Like ff14, WoW, New World. Trying out the MMO’s and going through the grinding in each one is mind numbing.
I’m back to playing WoW because it’s the king and hasn’t been dethroned despite what people think. WoW is full American with all of its capitalistic quirks and nonstop Twitter drama

I’m going to give it a try on the 11th. I think it looks kind of funny, but most Asian MMO are not my thing. The art style is a big turn off for me. Also, the zones look small like D3, it’s not a true open world game. Which is another turn off.
Yes I did my bad. Fixed it. So many games it gets hard to keep up lol

i never paid attention to any new game with the exception of rift… and only then was because i somehow came across it, get beta access, fell in love with it, and unsubbed wow for my only 4 months or so away, until i got the mop beta and fell for wow all over again.
When it launches f2p, I’ll try it because I see no reason not to. The few videos I’ve seen have looked fun. No harm done either way.
