It’s the truth! I’ve seen the meme where the masked guy is like “My work here is done!” and she responds with “But you didnt do anything”.

I mostly watched batman/gundam/pokemon/dbz on cartoon network as a child, but I also watched totally spies and hamtaro with my little sister

Same boat, don’t think I ever saw it once

Now we’re talking business

Mostly pokemon and dbz for me. My son is 9 and is mega into both right now, so getting to relive it all with him. It’s pretty cool.

Naming multiple is still naming one. He didn’t say name only one. You should have went math nerd on him. Precision in language is important.

If you are fighting someone else with 40% versatility, then they are doing 20% more damage to you due to versatility because of your relative versatility stats. Versatility causes damage to inflate as item level progresses.

The biggest value versatility brings is stomping on people with lower versatility.

Person A has 40% versatility.
Person B has 20% versatility.

Person A does 30% extra damage to Person B due to versatility.
Person B does 0% extra damage to Person A due to versatility.

The way the stat works is just flat out stupid (IMO) and just exacerbates gear gap issues.

I love when awful players argue with the Dill.

Where on earth did you pull those numbers from seeing as vers, and other stats, have diminishing increases

20% vers != 20% dmg

Stated without DR for simplicity, but this is how the stat works. Overall damage inflates as versatility increases.

Versatility exacerbates gear gaps.

How is that different for vers as opposed to any other stat?

There’s a difference between versatility the number, IE 400 vers and versatility the percentage…

Diminishing returns requires you to have more of the flat number to achieve a higher percentage…

Damage stats versus health pool and armor (lulz).

People often point to versatility as why they shouldn’t be taking so much damage. I’m just saying that versatility causes damage inflation if you are fighting people with the same level of versatility. That’s all I was trying to say.

I appreciate the explanation I’ve been messing around with my stats this season to try to get the most damage while not griefing my vers

Yeah, the percentage on your character sheet is what you have after DR has been applied to the flat value. Hover over versatility percentage on your stat page and let me know if it isn’t exactly what your damage is increased by and half towards damage averted.

This was not the flex you thought it was.

100+replies hopefully someone in blizz sees this lol.

something tells me the dill tool :soccer: is wet

No you need to make another thread, that will absolutely get blizzards attention.
