no it hasnt. people were claiming Shadowlands and Dragonflight leaks were proven false and they were in fact NOT PROVEN FALSE pointing out reused assets when the devs are flat out using AI you really expect the AI to create things out of thin air?

Yeah, someone would have to deliberately have pushed A LOT of specific things through AI, had them tailored exactly like previous WoW expansion trailers to make this.
Itās an overwhelming amount of work for a fake.
āItās made by AIā seems like a cheap cop-out. AI isnāt this good on itās own. It would need a lot of constraints and rules to make something this good.
Any AI artwork Iāve tried to make, honestly looks like trash, lol.
It looks too handcrafted to be fake, to me at least.
You would be surprised by the lengths that people will go to while creating a fake leak or hoax. Even if itās not made by AI, itās still very likely a fake. Not a half bad fake, but still probably fake.

I said it in another thread, this wouldnāt be hard to pull off either. Expansion trailers have followed the same formula for years now, and everything in this leak is stuff the community has been speculating on for a few weeks now.
So someone with enough time had all the information they needed to make a really convincing leak.

I have a feeling itās real, but I wouldnāt mind being wrong. I canāt say the concept as presented there is especially compelling. Iād be shocked if it was an old world revamp, Iām not expecting that until at least the expansion after next.

Who knows? Maybe a bunch of bored Blizzard employees got together and made a convincing leak just to take a shot whenever a doomsday thread popped up.

Basically I am not hacking data because I am not the YouTuber who did it, other than that I cannot post images in the post so I am not committing anything. If I were the hacker who did it and Iām not a hack And Iām trust level 2, I canāt post anything.

The triceratops is the only thing that really gives me any sort of pause. That looks good. Like, really good. It could be created and faked pretty easily though. Either way, weāll see whether this is true or not soon enough.

I like dwarves, I think theyāre one of the more interesting and fun races. Scottish hermits that love drinking, blowing things up and just went through a civil war? Yeah, theyāre lots of fun.
That being said, the pictures have (what I think) are a lot of reused assets, which Blizzard doesnāt generally do unless itās something like crates or something like that, which would make sense showing up around Azeroth.
Either way, people have said theyāre proven false which makes sense.
Also, I would still love a Void expansion, even though Blizzard said they werenāt going in that direction.
Iāve seen the āproven falseā thing passed around a few times without any real proof beyond thinking they wouldnāt reuse assets. Which is fair to an extent, they would more likely showcase the shiny new stuff and let us stumble over familiar assets after we buy.

Though if someone told me that those pics were of a custom server, Iād have believed them. They feel like they have that quality.

Well, at this point itās hard to say one way or the other if this is fake or not. If it is fake, itās a very convincing fake. However, some minor things appear to be lining up and suggesting it isnāt fake. Hereās the thing: Iāve been around long enough to see this cycle play out time and time again. Iāve seen my fair share of fake leaks, and Iāve seen quite a few real ones that everyone and their mother swore āhad to be fake.ā
As things currently stand? This seems to be leaning towards the real deal. The key thing for me is in the video from the original post. Go to 3:52 in that video of the area that looks like a jungle setting. Youāll see pillars in the background.
Now, check their tweet from a few days ago:
One of the pictures appears to have convention decorations that are a deadringer for the alleged leak images.
At this point, it might be a safer bet to assume the leak is real.
