10.2 Dragonriding issue?

Anyone else’s mount kinda just fades while flying and comes back? Never had this issue until this update where i’m flying and my mount kinda just goes invisible but you see the outlines.

At first I thought it was just phasing when doing the intro quest, but nope, it keeps doing it. Freaks me out.

It’s a known issue that when you have the buff Thrill of the Skies, the drake goes shadowy. It got a blue response too. I’ll see if I can link that thread.

We’re working on a fix for this and expect it to go out tomorrow.

In the meantime, if you notice missing textures, disabling MSAA should help.

Dragonriding mounts become almost entirely invisible with Thrill buff active

I can confirm that turning off Multisample Techniques removes the translucent effect on the drakes when flying fast.

Thanks for the info. That fixes the flight issue. Too bad it doesn’t bring back my guild crest (another bug they hopefully will fix tomorrow!)

I noticed that too, But I’m using Elvui so I thought it was just the UI

I thought I was about to fall to my death first time I saw that. Also if you get old slow flying watch you keys because if you hit any mount button the one you are on disappears and you fall to your death( at least I did)
