I would be down for this. I kinda liked the idea of scrapping gear in BFA

lol fair! I had an alt that was an enchanter, I didnt scrap much
When people tell me not to panic, I panic more.
1.) Burrowed power has always been a thing, and currently is a thing in the form of Tier.
2.) Personally, Ggmmicky burrowed power is largely welcomed as long as it’s introduced within reason. It’s honestly my favorite part of any expansion.

players earn the gear and it gives them power
idk which influencer decided to lump tier gear with borrowed power
you must have started after legion
They also would never do major over hauls of specs mid season yet here we are.

It doesn’t take an influencer to make the obvious connection.
Set bonuses get turned off at the end of the expansion. Hence, borrowed.

Agreed. And I remember this being discussed during BFA and I think it’s more about the frustration of that “borrowed power” have homogeneity. Wasn’t there an ability in S1 BFA for rets azerite gear that was throwing a dagger in the back of an enemy (passive trait) and it really captures the holy, righteous/zealous warrior archetype!

Maybe something with a new dragon soul is going to return our artifact weapons. Honestly, not having to worry about the weapon slot would be nice.
Much as I’d like to team up with my knaifu again, I think she’s got bigger fish to fry these days.
