That’s the thing though. He can’t come back and lead, due to you know, being dead and all. Lorthemar though considered taking up the crown in the epilogue of SL after supposedly having a talk with Kael
Bob never talked about taking the crown because he knows he has no legitemacy. Infact Vereesa and Alleria could come up and demand the throne since he is not part of the ruling families of the kingdom. If the Horde wants to keep Silvermoon we need the guy back who was actually the heir to Anasterian.
That’s neat. Though I wonder where the Black Dragonflight Aspect will be seated. Like between Merithra and Kalecgos or across from with them in between Alexstrasza and Nozdormu to make a complete circle.
My girl finally being treated like the queen she is.
Why are we even doing dragons again? I thought Cataclysm had dealt with them for good.
You have been missing staff meetings have you? the end of Cataclysm was the Fall of the Aspects.
This expansion is about reversing that. and presumably uplifting new Green and Earth Aspects.
And dragons should not have returned at all. After raising the stakes so high with the Jailer the logical next step for an expansion should have been the void lords. Not some dumb lizards.
Says you… for me… I’m having the most fun flying that I’ve ever had in this game. if it were up to me… this would be the default method of flight from now on.
on the General forum I normally automatically put someone on ‘ignore forever’ for suggesting the removal/replacement of flight, but I don’t think I’ll do that here. It’s a bit of a berserk button for me, my account WILL die on the hill of TBC flying being in the game (Classic doesn’t count cause that was just classic though). I still do ignore those I find to be excessively trollish faction partisans of either side. Different forum, different standards I guess.
This! And having played Guild Wars 2 I feel like I can honestly say dragonriding is about 100xs more fun than flying in gw2 where I have two flying mounts to do one job.
As I understand it standard flight will eventually be put in during the normal end of expansion period. But I will still use Dragonflying until I can no longer do so and will mourn the day it’s removed from the game.
But maybe you should put me on /ignore forever. Might protect your sanity.
My husband being more diplomatic simply doesn’t use the forums.
And what next? How much higher can you go before you loose all pretense of sanity in your story? (a lot of people do seem to feel Shadowlands jumped the shark, tbh.) It is a classic comic book issue. When the writers raise the stakes too high, what you do is a reset back to more sane levels of power. Dragonflight is a reset back to grounded Azerothian threats. Not spooky cosmic beings of ultimate Titan++ power.
They have already said it is unthinkable they would remove Dragonriding after the amazing reception it has gotten, so I would expect it to become a permanent feature. It’ll be interesting to see how they streamline it into the main game.
lol your not alone on this all of my friends that I play who play more than me never touch the forums… like ever with the exceptions of the blue post with updates or changes.
A lot if not most of the things I bring to or create topic in these forums sections are mostly things my friends have mention and I find are good to post or talk with players on forums.
Meh. If it’s moved to the rest of the game, the game is better for it.
As long as they don’t remove the old flying. Sometimes I just want to air swim.
Jaina’s brother came back.
Which make’s absolutely zero sense. Considering he was burned by dragon fire and then spent 15+ yrs at the bottom of the ocean.
If the game followed even the most basic of logic, there wouldn’t have been a body to resssurect/bring back
are we ever gonna save that tauren dude in the cage
I feel bad for all of those people we left in cages when our quests to “free x number of captives” were done. “Sorry, losers! I’m done here. Gotta go get those bear asses now!”
I’m really not a fan of all the stuff in this patch portraying Neltharion as a horrible person even pre-Deathwing. In previous books and stuff he was described as friendly and good-natured, but 10.1 is basically presenting him as evil from the start. This isn’t the kind of person who I can imagine Malygos being best friends with or all the Aspects not expecting a betrayal and being heartbroken over it. Heck even in 10.0 the dracthyr leaders describe him as fatherly.
But Blizzard is incapable of giving their villains even the slightest nuance so I don’t know why I’m surprised. If someone is evil then that means they were always baby-eaters.
