You clearly didn’t understand a word of what I said. I’m talking about the priest set being reminiscent of Warcraft, and having inlore elements that make it easily recognizable as a set hailing from the Azeroth universe.
The fact that you put one of the most iconic sets in Warcraft lore next to this set is just proof that you weren’t even able to understand my argument. Yes, the BFA set has big shoulders, but it’s a Warcraft set, not a warhammer set or some kind of generic space marine.
Furthermore, the BFA set has parts adorned with cloth and leather, unlike the current set which is purely made of metallic parts. Look at the size of this chest, and tell me if this isn’t something that looks like Iron Man armor.
I don’t care about this discussion of he priest set, stop trying to say that I want the priest set, what I’m saying is that the philosophy behind the paladin set is stupid and needs to be changed, whatever priests have a nice set.
The iconography of paladins in lore is vastly superior to that of priests, and if it’s used I’m absolutely sure we’ll have fantastic sets. The fact that you finally have a cool set after years is just proof of that.
I don’t think this translated well.
The paladin set looks really good though, it’d be great if it was pants instead of the robe, but it’s still really good. That chest and helm are S tier paladin fantasy.

A sort of payback for their Legion class questline devolving into “we can’t pull our weight, let’s beg the Paladins to bail us out” by the end.
That being said, I do kind of hope they change the full robe on the Paladin set into an open coat. They finally have the tech for it, they need to use it at every possible opportunity to make up for lost time, and only doing it for some sets just doesn’t cut it.

lol… There were no “paladin sets” in BfA at all. Everything was armor type specific, not class. But the guy I was responding to was talking about how “plate armor was just going to keep getting bigger and bigger until we all look like the Hulkbuster!” While using one of the biggest plate transmogs ever.

I never said it was bad design, only thing bad is your reading comprehension… Anduin is an NPC, how many priests wield large or dual wield swords? So your comparison is dumb.

In this case, wouldn’t it be better to make two sets available to both classes?
Why would that be better? Every tier set has winners and losers. In this case Paladins got an ok set and priests have a great one.
Its always the people who are not getting what they want that demand a “compromise”
I guess we could go back to no class specific sets so Paladins feel better…but everybody hated that last time so that would not be a win.
