Send the pet towards the tendi to kill it use pet kick macro arena target 2 or 1 whatever the mage is pet kicks spam attack on tendy you safe. Range kicks, but you still dead cuz rogue mage.

This is the only expansion where you can be killing someone else and your corruptions going off can annihilate someone standing a good distance away
Because PVP players want to have a scapegoat, and a lot of PVP players have a mindset that “PVP is skillful, PVE is scripted trash for idiots that can’t PVP”

PvP is about who’s on top of the food chain. I was on it when I was on the top of the food chain… no life and heavily geared both from PvP and PvE. I wont play PvP if I know I would be at the bottom of the foodchain just to be an easy honor kill. The OP got wrecked by someone above him of the foodchain.
To Crybabies who got wrecked by Corruption, this is what I could say to you. You can have a Corruption too to wreck them. If your Corruption is weaker, it’s your fault. Corrupted Gear is raining… it drops here and there IF YOU KNOW HOW TO GET THEM.
Previously PvP and PvE were two separate food chains, and it was better that way. Now that the food chains are merged PvEers are the first to the table, and PvPers get stuck with the third rate leftovers.
I use an umbrella and poncho to avoid getting soaked from the sh!tstorm that is corruption. Feel free, no feel encouraged, to enjoy doing those visions (PvE) or else you fall behind in the “food chain”.
There is an endgoal. I am not like you who plays like a hamster going nowhere. I am planning to beat M+15 and AoTC on my own progression… as a Casual PuG. And I am enjoying all the gear I am getting. I am making a progress on my adventure. I am not like you stuck. You think Shadowlands would save you? This is MMO… the more work or grind you make, the better your toon on the foodchain. You might be on a wrong game if you havent figured this out yet.
We are talking about PvP. Yet you listed a bunch of PvE crap. They should be separate.

Getting your cloak to level 10+, which is when you can start doing mask runs, can take about a month.
For those who enjoy PvP and only PvP, that is yet another barrier for entry which makes them participate in content they have no interest in. All to keep things on an even keel versus the people who spam M+ or the raiders.

Twilight Devastation isn’t that good, you may dodge it without even noticing.
Mind Flay tentacle is much harder to deal with because it’s damage is mostly unavoidable and it’s proc rate is more reliable.
Had a tank with tons of corruption stacked challenge me to a duel. What he really wanted was a Twilight Devastation proc, but instead died immediately to his corruption, losing the duel right away.
After that, kept spamming /duel requests my way.

The best part was the tank getting mad that his TD didn’t proc and he instead died to a Thing from Beyond immediately. Absolutely hilarious.
I grew up in vanilla on a pvp server. You couldn’t pay me to get involved in what they call “pvp” now.
Lol corruption aint the problem its your ilvl. I could literally 1shot you with a single chaosbolt

That would still be “you” doing the action. Corruption effects that do direct damage absent player control are gross.
Youre right but youre gonna die to anything and everything really fast if you only have 200k health. I have 580k health in pvp unbuffed and ive never been 1shot by a corruption lol
Which is problem #1 in regards to PvP in BFA. The huge power creep.
#2 is no pvp vendor
#3 is classes pruned to hell
