Even if it’s real which it’s not, it’s an estimate based on hits per day etc. Ff14 is still crushing wow in terms of numbers.

You know what’s better source? Playing Shadowlands from launch, and checking groups for m+, legacy raids, current raid and pvp.
Which are not that high atm, only raid seems to be in good numbers.
Which is good, it’s a good raid.
Other than that, bit lackluster for patch that’s meant to hold our interest for next 6-8 months.

The prices aren’t going up and down like that because of Earth’s magnetic field, that is supply and demand at work 
those tokens are being bought up and sold so I’m really not seeing the death of wow in the near future.
You guys can doomsay all you want, as long as the money is coming in your favorite MMO will be here

You can look at Activision-Blizzards quarterly statements and MAU to come to your own conclusion. Q1 this year WoW made $100 million more than same quarter a year ago.
Q2 2021 earnings come out in a few weeks and it’s going to be a blow out with 9.1 and TBClassic in terms of $$$ made. Q3 is the real teller.
Funny thing is SuperData shut down their website that was showing the same kind of fabricated info.
You’ll see a lot of internal shakeup and personnel change when it gets to that point. It’s not just going to go from business as usual to full stop. A lot of which will probably depend on how successful upcoming competitors are.
It’ll hold for me, and that’s all that matters. I doubt the next patch will take as long to come out. I’d have to imagine there’s going to be some whip crackin’ at Blizzard’s office. Even if the bad press is hype for clicks, it’s still bad press and should be addressed and countered.

It’s not an opinion though. WoW is like a TV show it had 8 season and the last few were really questionable. They have a Season 9 planned haven’t worked on it yet but it gets cancelled due to extremely poor numbers. Happens all the time.

This patch took 8 months and it’s 1 new Maw zone.
Next patch is something out of Shadowlands, which means lot of dev time. At least 6-8 months.
But hey, if you can enjoy Kothria dailies for 6-8 month, good on you.
I wonder if something was going on those past 8 months globally.

He does nothing but doomsay in his campaign against WoW. He claims to be “on a crusade to make WoW better” but, Press (X) to Doubt.

That’s not current content, all you got there is old transmog farms, which I’ve already done, as most people have during BFA.
Game can’t live on transmog farms.

So I’ve been working on leveling 20 new characters and have been spending quite a bit of time in Redridge and there’s a quest I’ve seen a few times called
and it always makes me laugh because I don’t come across much “inappropriate” stuff like that in the more modern xpacs. Nothing to do with what you said just wanted to mention it
