You can pay $50 - $60 one time and get unlimited playtime with any non MMO and they have servers too. The monthly sub model is a big part of why the game has been on decline for a decade.
Calling it amazing is stupid

Really not a problem for me. I bought the 1 year subscription deal when it was available and had been on a six-month subscription since BFA. Not everyone can do what you propose though. Stop being condescending.
this place is pretty expensive though so maybe thats why.
Maybe. I’m going to Nobu this weekend and it can rack up to over $1k VERY quickly. I’m giving myself a $200 limit lol. Their basic cocktails alone run minimum $20
where i live we don’t have those kind of expensive restaurants unless you live down in madison or milwaukee. wisconsin is not a very populous state. much of our population is intersperced(sp?) in between towns and cities 10-50 miles of each other especially in the north where it’s mostly woods. the north gets the worst weather. winds up to 90-100 mph+ in the winter with bomb cyclones. hurricane force winds. we also get extreme cold in the winter. we probably the top 10 coldest states in the us. maybe even top 5.
100 CAD is decent price for 6 month sub in this economy. That’s what it was 15 years ago, and 15 years ago 100 CAD was worth almost twice what it is now. You can’t buy 6 months worth of toilet paper for 100 CAD anymore, what you want Blizz to do about it?
In decline for 19 years and still the top MMO.
yeah but with loss of china market wow is gonna be hurting for profit/revenue. it has been the lions share of their sub base since at least wod. not sure what the agreement was with netease profit share wise but it will surely hurt their bottom line.
Such a top MMO they had to give away game time to boost trash sales numbers
Makes sense that I wouldn’t have seen that as I avoid Walmart like the plague. I mostly see it at gas stations, 7-11, and grocery stores.
i have numerous reasons as well to avoid walmart. mostly thought because of their aggressive anti union stance and how they treat their workers like dirt from some of the horror stories i’ve heard. was awhile ago but idk if they changed.
Yeah. Whenever we had gas shortages out here the places that would get smacked were those locations for price gouging. They mark up the prices on small goods also because most of those purchases are impulse purchases… if you really stopped and thought about the price you are paying at that moment you would go somewhere else.
Costco did remove the diced onions, sauerkraut from the condiment bar though. So it’s not like the product itself has remained identical in the face of rising prices.
Then don’t play , like I won’t go back to the theatre you describe . But that has nothing to do with the meager amount WoW charges for a sub when you compare it to the cost of other entertainment
Wait… no sauerkraut to go with my chili cheese hot dog?
This means… WAR!
god forbid a business employs basic marketing and customer incentive strategies.
By your logic, Wall-Mart would never give coupons or deals since they’re already the number #1 Retailer in the states.
You are still here paying … lol
I have news for you. Every business owner is aggressively anti union. Whether it’s someone like me with one employee, or it’s a multi billion dollar company. Why would anyone support something that exists explicitly to go agaijst their own self interest.
Someone doesn’t understand inflation nor their comparisons
