Hey guys, im kinda pulling strings at this moment but here goes nothing. My account has been banned and ive submited countless appeals and I keep getting ran into the automated message wall. I was banned for 3rd party use which i never have because this game has been a staple in my life growing up. I was just about to reach 60 on my mage after countless hours and all nighters grinding and than i have recieved the “account closure” email. Distraught. I have pulled my own data, chat logs, and everything and im a very active chatter and in all of my gridning have been interacting and befriending people. Ive seen this happen to alot of mages and countless people, ive also seen people get unbanned so this is my last hope. Ive appealed 4-5 times what else can i do?
Already expecting the “deserved” and “dont bot” comments its rought knowing you were being a truthful player and got burned.

YOu will have to wait on ur ticket the forums arent a means of bypassing the ticket system. THey also dont take evidence via forums.
Vrak maybe lock this up so it doesnt go all night.

There really is nothing else you can do. Appeals are the only way to get something overturned. Nothing a player submits is taken as “proof”. They use only their own logs and results of their anti-cheat detection software/methods.
There CAN be false positives. It is rare, but they happen. Usually when that happens the Hacks team will realize the error, run the data again, and issue an unban wave to those who were wrongly caught up. The folks you get on appeal are GMs, who can only look at the status (flagged for a violation) and issue you a template.
You can appeal until they tell you to STOP or your Battlenet account is at risk. Always be polite of course.
None of this matters at all. People can still cheat, automate portions of gameplay with macros, bot while chatting, etc. None of that would be proof of anything. Cheating and exploiting can be a lot more than just a simple “bot”.

Dont mean to use this as a way to bypass ive just heard folklore of GM’s that have escelated tickets from fourms thats all.
GMs dont come here nor are the blues GMS nor do they escalate apeals.
Edit ur still trying to bypass the ticket system.

Nope, the most anyone here can do is tell you if your ticket is in queue or not (and if it’s in the right queue). I’ve occasionally seen speculation on the direction an appeal may go, but the SFA’s aren’t part of the appeals team or hacks team and have no influence on that process.

That tends to be the rumor, which we really try to dissuade because if we did do that it would inundate these forums with only that kind of request. Note, we don’t have Game Masters on the forums. Only Support Forum Agents like me and while I can see the same things a Game Master can, the scope of support on the forums is a bit different.
Sorry, Deany. Hopefully, additional investigation will allow the hacks team to dismiss the penalty, but I’m afraid we cannot escalate the matter.
