how would you feel when someone in game, is literally hunting you down, publicly attacking you out of nowhere due to the fact our team was losing and he needed a way to vent anger?
Although I personally believe it is understandable and fair to want to respond proportionally to provocations, I know this does not align with Blizzardâs rules. If you lower yourself to the level of the person who provoked you, you may also end up being suspended. The best thing to do is not to respond and simply report or ignore the player in question. If they violated the rules, you can be sure Blizzard will take the appropriate action.
Report and ignore.
This game should not promote clever use of the system when he cleverly avoided using certain words that the system would pick up but done all the damage and haunt total strangers like myself. it is pure evil
what? the system doesnât automatically pick up anything.
the penalty process is clearly done by preprogramed bots, bliz is not gonna have ppl sitting there reading all the chats, in the code they have words that the system would flag and automatically assign penalties, clearly. This system is not gonna read the entire incident and analyze with logic.
The system isnât automated, there are no bots, the chat isnât being read by AI just to ban you.
Correct, we donât have people reading all the chats. Thatâs why it is a reactive process, in which only the reported chat is verified.
The only time that we may review a good deal more chat than what was reported is if weâre investigating an Ongoing Harassment report, because that is when context matters more than⌠Did X use inappropriate or toxic language.
I think this matter has been answered.
