I hope you didn’t wait all that time and was in the horde turtle.

Poor horde got pushed back till they ran out of points.

Horde create their own queue problem when they turtle AV. For every AV they turtle, 40 other horde and waiting on THEM to stop the turtle before they can get into a game.

And also, queuing at 5:30 a.m. PST, on a Monday morning…um, yeah.

Even though there is little PvP I always advocate for us to try to race. I defend IWB or SHB and get a little PvP in there. 10 minute game. Everyone’s happy.

During the “test”, they were able to make Horde queues 1 minute long without forcing us to play as Alliance. How? And why would they have reverted that back?

That is short compared to the av ques in classic. On av weekend during classic not at the end of it the ques were still 40-55 mins.

Actually, xrealm BG’s were in 1.12.1. I was reading the wrong patch notes. Even so, if the queues can be made to be instant, they should be instant.

In the history of wow except maybe in vanilla before patch 1.12 av ques have never ever been instant. Even when the horde play the alliance stupid pve rush game they weren’t instant.

during the “test” , AV was not included.

any reduction in AV ques from horde side would have been from having less horde players queing for AV so you were in a shorter line.

Or… Maybe the little reward crate for alliance actually did get more alliance players to que.

The queues are ridiculous most of the time.
There’s no other way to word it.
No one who’s not being a smartypants can say it any other way.
I accept that it will never change.
Reluctantly.
And with the urge to throw my computer out the window while I wait.

The history of wow is irrelevant. #nochanges is already so far out the window this is nowhere near an authentic experience. If the queues CAN be instant for everyone, they SHOULD be instant for everyone. That is all I’m saying. There is absolutely no legitimate reason that someone should be forced to wait a long time to enter a game on purpose.
