No daze equipment on every character.
Drop the daze prevention one and forget it exists.
Water walking is only sometimes useful in specific areas, and practically useless in Shadowlands.
Comfortable Rider’s Barding, it protects against being dazed.

Forgot about it for most of BFA, lots of water there. Been thinking about it more NOW, I feel the daze equipment might be better.
Obviously not. They keep deprecating the old equipment and added SL specific recipes.
Unpopular opinion but, I didn’t LOVE exclusively using the waterstrider, so yeah, this is better IMO.
I would gather in Blizzard’s eyes the alternative would be NO mounts allowed to gather without dismounting (lol druids) OR adding an equipment to allow it on all mounts. That one could be cool. I don’t mind the sky golem.

It’s dumb, I don’t think anyone uses it more than once, it’s just another uneseccary system to confuse new and returning players

Or, and hear me out, they could have made more cool mounts that had unique abilities.
Blizzard always subtracts when they decide they don’t like how we play, they never think to add.

it’s 2 years next month.
i’ve never used it.
i rarely get dismounted, and if i do, i can just… mount up again. 
for my needs, water walking is by far superior.

It’s not popular. I finished Naxx40 Vanilla and I never got a chance to get those squid food buffs. The whole BC, Still my fishing was ZERO. WoTLK came, water walking is nah… My DK can walk on water with any mount.
Then Pandaria came. They introduced the Panda Race… Epicurean… double buff on food. I tried one. I realized that Cooking is a must for Pandarens. And FISHING is a must for Cooking. So I fish and fish. Got a raft. That’s it. I dont need the ugly Mosquito Strider mount. My Raft can do it.
Then modern WoW came. If you could walk in water, glide in the sky, it would speed up your leveling. The Mosquito mount became popular. Then the mechagnomes invented the mount equipment. Up to now, fishing is not popular.
I almost went there with saying it was post-shower water

I set it, but I don’t forget it. I get daze immunity for everyone. One of the best things ever devised!
Don’t really care about the other equipment, I have a fish mount for swimming.
