Yeah, I did it on my Tauren Shaman, but it is per character, so each new alt I create needs a hand-me-down. The ability to purchase it unlocks for the entire account, but it requires level 40 to actually buy it. Then, even though the tooltip says it requires level 10 to use, it can’t be applied to your mount UI until 15.
If they keep waiting to do flight until later in expansions then they need to add a new mount equipment option like a hot air balloon or something. A 5 min. cooldown that allows flight for like 10 seconds or something just enough to get over a pesky cliff, wall, mountain…etc.
Spring Shoes could work. Let our mounts jump super high.

Mount equipment really should have been per mount instead of the whole darn collection.

Set it on characters that existed when it was released. Forgot about it.
Forgot about it completely on new characters.
