You broke the rules, you need to accept the responsibility. Blizz could easily perma ban your account. Thousands of players have lost their accounts for account sharing.
Hmm⌠I have one bnet account with two WoW licenses (me and my son). And we each have our own Classic. But youâre saying only one Classic per account. How do we have two?
Sorry, Skruffles, I should have clarified. Folks use Account for both the Battle.net Account and for the WoW license.
Your Classic license is tied to the WoW license, so you get one Classic license for each active WoW license.
Access to Classic is an extension of your retail WoW license, not âin addition toâ. Each WoW license has access to Classic.
But youâre saying only one Classic per account. How do we have two?
You can have up to 8 wow licenses, if they each have game time, you can have 8 wow classic licenses on a battle net account .
It wouldnât be that big of an issue really if it wouldnât negate everything my wife and son worked for by taking it away from them by separating accounts.
Which wouldnât be an issue at all had you handled the accounts properly in the first place.

Ok⌠Thanks. Perhaps everyone should use âAccountâ strictly for Bnet and âLicenseâ for the WoW licenses. That might avoid some of this confusion. After all, itâs been what, like 10 years since the WoW licenses have migrated over to Bnet Accounts? If you guys are clear in the terminology, itâll probably rub off on the posters as well. Just a suggestion. And thanks for the info.
(By the way, weâre having fun with Classic so far, but kind of a disastrous launch, donât ya think? Hope they get it together over there soon.)
Some of these comments arenât entirely fair, there is every indication that Entilza was trying to establish the account correctly. They received an answer which they thought applied, but was specifically about having a minor child access the account. The confusion is understandable.
The frustration is certainly understandable, as the prospect of losing many of the pets/mounts that you may have accumulated is certainly daunting. Hopefully they will reconsider and contact Support to help them better establish accounts for all members of the family that want to play. In the meantime, if you cannot simply wish them well in where their gaming takes them, perhaps simply focus on not poking them with pointy sticks instead?
