1-80 without RDF, JJ and boosting?

Let me preface this by saying I’m a huge fan of levelling and I enjoyed it a lot in Vanilla. However the idea of doing 1-60 in Wrath isn’t as enticing, because once I’m done with this long grind I still have 20 more gruesome levels to do. I’m nowhere close to the goal. So I have to grind through 60-70, which while not as slow as it was in TBC is still a very long process to get through especially considering you’re not gonna have the easiest of time getting dungeon groups together as most people are in Northrend or just randomly spaced out across the 1-70 level range. On the off chance I haven’t burned out already and actually get to 70, now I have the 10 slowest levels in the game still to get through. Do we not see a problem here?

There are so many levels to get through in Wrath, and the idea of not having tools available such as RDF, JJ and boosting, is just ludicrous at this point. We can’t even have a guildie or friend run us through an instance, because we’ll get 0 exp due to the anti-boosting changes. At this point what game are we even playing? Surely back in the day people were getting boosted through instances even if just by their friends or guildmates to bypass the monotony of having to quest or the difficulty in getting a dungeon group together manually in a timely fashion. And then of course when RDF launched, they had RDF to once again break the monotony of questing.

Personally, my motivation to level in Wrath is at rock bottom. I can just wait for Dragonflight at this point, at least levelling there won’t be an absolute slog.

Yeah I’m done leveling without some sort of help for at least 1-70.
I’ll even take to 68 since you can come into Wrath that early.

As opposed to the boring monotonous grind of doing the same raid and dungeons over and over again?

Exactly. Literally repeating the exact same 5 quest over and over just in different areas for 80 levels is not fun

You can do leveling in cataclysm, where leveling is significantly easier

So you don’t want to do quests and dungeons while leveling, because you prefer doing daily quests and dungeons/raids at 80…?

Well have fun with that i guess

sorry that you can’t seem to understand that not everyone enjoys leveling? must be hard to live in that state of permanent befuddlement.

OP, you’re the type of player that ruins MMORPGS. Like a virus. Digging and clawing and virusing your ideas into what was a healthy 12million subscription game of the century. You make it sick and frail and ill, and then the population sinks lower and lower and the Dr.Devs panic and start sticking it with needles and injecting it with foreign bodies and chemicals trying to save it. But it plagued and scarred and can never return to what it once was.

This is the whole reason WE ARE HERE NOW TRYING TO ENJOY THE GAME BEFORE PLAYERS LIKE YOU RUINED IT. GO AWAY, in minecraft.

Why are you leveling an alt if you don’t want to?

You’re just being silly. This is 2022. We already undertook the journey. Multiple times. On multiple toons… My point: RDF is fine in wrath. If you don’t like it dont use it.
