🤔 Alpha Testers Already Not Motivated To Run Torghast

oh ok, so doing good isnt a concern to me i just cant stand grinding. so timer meh

These are also people running it in, at most, dungeon blues trying to start on level 19 or higher. Of course they’re going to have a bad time of it and have to wait for CDs every pull. They’re woefully undergeared for the content they’re trying to run.

I guess fun doesn’t exist anymore.

Sounds like my cloak experience. Get to level 15 and be completely burned out on same, boring, grind.

I sincerely hope there’s more variety.

k Ion sure lets no care what they think. We all know once SL is released it won’t change and it’s your way or the highway, bad luck a lot of people will take the highway about a month in I say.

It is too early to tell how they will end up doing this but there was discussion (an interview I believe) that the non timed mode would be the one you have to earn ‘keys’ to and the mode that has torments at the higher levels would be free to enter for cosmetics.

Also the modes with torments have safe places at the start of each of them. Nothing is going to protect you from IRL interruptions because if you are gone the 20 minutes or so the game logs you out and you have lost your progress anyway.

I know you are trying to seem witty but you failed utterly. News flash, when you start a thread with the title like the OP and then present TWO WHOLE PLAYERS as your support, you tend to look like a fool.

If they gave us free mythic loot at the start of every raid tier, I could find two people who didn’t like it. Using a source of two people is a joke. I am not saying he is wrong, I am saying he lacks any creditable sources to make the claim to being with.

Can you two get a room or something, listening to your back and forth is almost as bad as listening to Biden!

Most people running something every day back to back would get tired of it. Torghast will basically be SL’s version of Islands where you’re only ‘required’ to run 2 or 3 per week.

Only difference is that it’s looking to be 100000000000000 times more fun than islands.

No sweetheart you’re the fool here. Naïve to believe anything Blizzard say’s or does. Believe me people will sub for SL they will make their money but how long I bet maybe a couple of month or till their subs runs out. Buts all good Ion maybe you will keep your job for another 12 months.

There’s tons of feedback everywhere (here, on the alpha forums, on youtube, on reddit) about how torments were an awful, uninspired idea and how everyone hates it.

Which is why I am sure they will go ahead with it. Think beta BFA, we all said HoA was bad, the powers were bad, etc…they still went along with it. Thats their m.o.

Everyone doesn’t hate them. Because everyone testing doesn’t encounter them. It would be like you claiming everyone hates ‘x’ change to mythic raiding when 95% of people don’t mythic raid and this won’t affect them at all.

Marla, given your post history any contradictions coming from you I consider a win.

You are easy to please, take what you can get.

they start at floor 13 Marla, everyone encounters them and will encounter them if we are doing 18 floors per run.

Yeah, I’m missing Bernie already.

Not everyone will be playing in that endless mode. Right now there are quest modes that don’t have any torments.

as far as I can tell those quest ones are only for the zone storylines that introduce us to torghast. testing corridors is what we do at 60

Yes it isn’t clear what those are but there have been interviews that suggest the quests mode will have the legendary mats and require keys and the endless mode will have cosmetics and not have keys and that is the mode that has torments.

They stated right in that blue post that the torment were for higher levels.

There was a tower introduction at the end of that last zone we did and it wasn’t the same as the modes when you queue up now. In fact, it doesn’t make sense for them to have built that room with the portals to the various ones if that was just temporary and not a permanent feature.

I believe all those quest ones also scale you up to 60 as well so that would imply permanent feature.

Would you say it’s a…slap in the face?
