Yeah but you play a worgen which is a furry, now thatâs a minority thing, most normal people are attracted to something pure human as possible, thatâs just my opinion, in real life people are not attracted to animals, if someone wants a bf or a gf they are after a human, not some mutant thatâs what Iâm saying, thatâs why the large majority of people wonât choose to play an animal character as letâs be honestâŚ
Highest sex appeal is with draenei/blood elf females, with humans and night elves second, nightborne elves probably third, with the uglier races like tauren at the bottom of the pile, Iâm sorry Iâm not saying this from a minority perspective but the majority perspective, i know it sounds a bit mean, but you know I was told in school by a teacher that you will find throughout your life you will be judged by how you lookâŚI regret to say Draenei/blood elf are at the top of the hierarchy in this area, I know it sounds bad, but when you play a fantasy game you just want to be as pretty and sexy as possibleâŚunless you donât want any attention at all of course in which case roll a Mechagnome I guess.
I get what youâre saying, but I really donât think your perspective is as universal as you think it is. Thereâs a difference between wanting to play something generally aesthetically appealingâwhether because you think it looks badass, or pretty, or sexy, or just especially detailed, or what have youâand only wanting to play as models that you would want to date or to look like IRL.
Whether or not youâre a snake furry whoâs attracted to sethrak in the sexual sense, a lot of people agree that the models appeal to them on an aesthetic level. Theyâre beautifully designed models that look both elegant and badass, much like the naga and the arakkoa, which are also heavily requested. Thatâs sufficient for a lot of people to want to play things.
Your reasons for picking races for your toons are your own, and theyâre perfectly fine reasons, but you canât project them onto everyone else and then argue that anyone who disagrees is wrong or being untruthful.
Personally I really hate your idea.
You are making the Vulpera into the bad guys in the situation and justifying the faithless being massive (curse words)
The Sethrak the Vulpera didnât get on with were the ones trying to end the world.
No need to make them sympathetic and make Vulpera the evil ones.
I cannot tell if youâre just a troll or just could not tell I was joking. While I have no issue with Furries, (in fact they get a bad rap because of this perspective you have here) I do not play a Worgen or want Sethrak made playable for any sexual reason. Not to mention not all Furries are into anthropomorphic characters for sexual reasons. And players are allowed to like, want or play races for whatever reasons they find them enjoyable.
Sethrak have a lot of promise, potential and theyâre very popular to all sorts of player types. That says something in itself.
And it is not going to hurt anyone if they are made playable. Those who want them will play their Sethrak. Those who donât care for them? Well they donât have to play them, easy enough.
That wasnât really my intention at allâits just a matter of survival and business. Thatâs the reason I framed it in terms of the zone getting worse in its ability to sustain in other ways.
Also it doesnât justify the faithless in going too far in their brutality; rather its just the arc of the old saw about absolute power corrupting absolutely. Ask all the orcs who were held in internment camps about it. Things go downhill and get out of hand.
I mean, your preferences are up to youâI just wanted to clarify that those two things werenât my goal, per se.
And I appreciate that you support those who want them! Because itâs fine not to like them.
But it is nice to see people who recognize there is a lot of love and support for something and cheer them on even if personally, it isnât to their tastes.
Or would it be âThereâs boots on this snake!â
Would make a good /silly emote.
Oops, guess that would be the mechagnome x saberon hybrids⌠well actually I guess not hybrids since mechagnomes would have gnomish babies. Just mechanized saberons.
I would be down for Sethrakk for an allied race not so relevant with the plot. It would be cool if it was one of the first allied races without much commitment to unlock. Perhaps a quest chain. And there faction would appear after recruiting them.
Some races can be brought back this way. Such as Taunka, Arrakoa, Tuskarr, Satyr, Centaur, Quilboar, Murlocs , Jinyu, Hozen.
Itâs interesting how vocal support for sethrak has been since the expansion launched. I canât think of anything else thatâs been relevant for the past year or so thatâs generated near the amount of discussion and interest both here and on other discussion sites out there.
Except the Rajani mogu, because Iâm seeing a lot of tentative interest in mogu becoming an allied race, too. I still think sethrak and mogu would make an excellent pair, regardless of which side either of them went to. Considering the Rajani seem to be a new faction, itâs not like they have all the baggage of empire and their relations with the Zandalari of old weighing down their decision.
Sethrak, on the other hand, have been definitively neutral since their first appearance, even though the Horde hero definitely did more to help them personally.
Either of them could really go either way, as far as i can tell.
This would be an interesting way to go about it. Think it would be nice and maybe even easier for Blizzard because less work for the recruitment scenario. And then give the faction some goodies to encourage people to gain rep with it. Maybe something like how the Netherwing faction was done?
(But Iâll take a long rep grind if that is the only way theyâre made playable)
I was thinking more unlock them first and then work your way through the faction for extra rewards/ more story. Like a sort of thing like the kliaxxi rep. It was when you got exalted with them that you learned they were servants of the old gods. It would be cool to have sonething like that in an allied race. Kliaxxi was one of my favorite reps. I looked forward to doing them.
