★ PSA: Void Elf Paladins are justified in the Lore ★

I dig your take on a High Elf Paladin. I did this High Elf Lancer as a, “This is as close as I’m getting to Paladin right now.”

Void elves are NOT “Voidforged” if that’s what all of you newbies are trying to use for an argument.

And choosing paladin as your job CLASSification doesn’t mean your
BODY suddenly becomes infused with Light.

YOU NEWBIES!

That’s a super fun mog.

Mine? Yeah. I got the orange murloc backpack too.

Woot woot!

Oh my God I feel so stupid HAHAHAHAHHAA

I very rarely play my DHs so I completely forgot about them LOL

That’s not fan theory: literally cannon.

Oh yeah? You got a canon situation where a Void Elf gets infused with the Light and explodes?

Or a canon situation where Paladins are infused with the light? Because Blood Knights weren’t.

Void Elves, yes
Undead, no

Where are you getting that from?

Undead aren’t of Shadow, they are of Death, where Void Elves are of Shadow, and are not of Death.

Dude, this is a week argument.

You can not lock certain specs within classes when playing on certain races. Void Elf Priest in lore would be Shadow Priest, not Holy Priest.

And?

I don’t see Discipline Priests exploding. It’s an assumption without merit. Alleria can interact with Turalyon outside of void form however she wants… and in Void form reacts like undead do to the light.

So, first of all. You’re making an assumption of the interaction of Light and Void. An incorrect one based on Twilight Hammer having Paladins.

Second, most people asking for playable Paladins are asking for it for High Elves. Which you can play as a Void Elf.

So, you can make the erroneous argument that they’re not High Elves because their nameplate says Void Elf. But if you’re using game mechanics to try and explain that away despite the words of the art director, then according to game mechanics you can be a Holy Priest Void Elf.

And a Void Elf Paladin would, due to their nature of being Void infused and their racial causing them to enter Void Form, would be exactly what doesn’t work with Alleria and Turalyon.

Twilight Hammer aren’t infused with the Light or the Void, so them having paladins doesn’t break anything. Additionally, if those NPCs were redone they most likely we be Void skinned Paladins due to being Void followers.

No matter what customization you are using, you’re a Void Elf regardless. You are still a High Elf/Blood Elf, but claiming you are no longer infused with the Void is a false assumption.

Pain? Which happens to undead using the light? It would be fine.

Lightforged Draenei Death Knights. Paladins don’t have to be “Infused” with the light. Blood Knights certainly weren’t. So that’s not a valid argument.

And so you can be a Holy Priest Void Elf. So you could be a Paladin.

I don’t like it.

What don’t you like?

I’m getting a surprising amount of “Arthas” vibes from your mog and look somehow but otherwise I like it. lol

Oddly, with current Forsaken lore, this could change. one of the few ways I would support Forsaken pallies is if there’s lore supporting it (which as of now, there is).

You do understand what the Void is, right?
