We’ve just been through the expansion where they’ve stopped pallies being copy and paste.
If VElfadins happen, they will not just be “Human charger on VElves” and will need their own seperate mount stuff. Even Dwarves finally lost that after these long, long years.
Yeah, nah. Dwarves finally got their own seperate mount after forever using the human charger and Lightforged just got a unique one despite that elekk working for them. That’s a milestone, that is, and showing that they’re not just going to be lazy in making more.
And you’re level 12. We’re both playing the alt game here. Suppose we -could- unmask and show our true mains to one another but, that’s no fun.
Uhhh… Sylvanas, I’m sorry because we’ve always been really civil in the past and want to remain that way, but acting like this is a righteous cause is part of the problem. You’re not saving the game, you’re making a class/race combo request.
It might, but that wasn’t my concern. My concern is that it is lore breaking. Until the lore changes or is rewritten, it will continue to be lore breaking.
Original post is debatable. Has been debated in the thread
I think that creating a new class might help, but I don’t think paladin is it.
If you think I’m here to “annoy” you, then we can’t really have a productive conversation anyways. Lore is important to people, and people are allowed to agree/disagree on lore. But in my eyes, it doesn’t abide my lore. Void/Light can not be mixed safely. In Forsaken, it causes intense agony. In Void Elves, my understanding is that they would literally explode.
Plus, I’ll admit. This just feels a bit like a High Elf request and not a Void Elf request. And we need more voidy stuff for Void Elves at the moment, who are drowning in High Elf demands.
Everything they’ve done so far makes sense lore-wise, even if some of it was more driven by player desires than story.
Void elf customisations make sense because they allow the racial population to resemble a proper allied race rather than the small group of exiles they originally were when Alleria recruited them. Void elf Holy Priests and Lightforged shadow priests also make sense because their abilities are external not internal and/or temporary in duration.
Void Elf Paladins would be a betrayal of the lore. Unless they completely change what a paladin is, there is no way they make sense. And they shouldn’t. A Discipline priest can wield Light and Void simultaneously because it’s external. Even if they are infused with one, they can still wield the other. But there is no way a person can be infused with two opposite forces.
The lore is what makes wow special, even if many players don’t appreciate it. Destroy it to make a few people happy, and the game will die. And it will die sooner rather than later.
P.S: Why isnt anyone talking about night elf paladins? They actually make sense!
