I recently logged into the game and attempted to queue for a Cataclysm dungeon, but I received the message “You may not queue for this.” I tried selecting individual dungeons, but got the same message.
Initially, I thought it might be my item level, so I purchased some new gear and got my item level up to 280, but the issue persists.
Any suggestions on what might be causing this and how to resolve it?

If you are trying to que for heroics you need 329 i believe.
cata normal level 80 just logged into cata on this toon. my item level is well above the threshold too i think at 280
If i remember correctly cata had a “you must enter the dungeon to queue for it” as a requirement origionally, but using rdf bypassed that at some point.
Specific queue does not though.
Discovering dungeons before queuing for them has been removed in this version. I just logged on my shaman who hasn’t left stormwind since cata went live, and was able to q specific for Throne of the Tides. He has some other issue going on since he couldn’t specific q or random q but claims he has the item level. What that something else is, is beyond my knowledge.
