Hello everyone.
I’m not sure if everyone here knows this, but an important achievement is missing from the game.
I’m talking, of course, about the “Deathbringer” achievement, obtained in a similar manner as the “Conquerer of Azeroth” achievement was in BFA.
Since this achievement outright doesn’t exist, the coveted title “Deathbringer” as well as the coveted “Deathbringer’s Flayedwing” Mount are both currently not obtainable in game.
Now you could just say, “Hey Shadow, why don’t you just do the achievements required for the meta achievement so that you can get it once Blizz puts it back into the game,” but there are problems with this as well.
Many achievements REQUIRED for Deathbringer are either bugged or also don’t exist atm.
The WQ achievement USED to be bugged but Blizzard fortunately fixed it.
The achievement “Covenant Combat” only gives credit towards the covenant YOU are a part of. There is a “work-around” involving swapping covenants 4 times to get progress for each covenant, but that’s not the way the achievement was intended.
And finally, the “The Many Trials of Zo’Sorg” achievement doesnt just “not exist,” but the very concept centered around the achievement doesn’t exist either. The achievement requires you to beat certain “Trials of Zo’Sorg” which are not World Quests, but rather some other in-game PVP event (kinda like Battle for Nazjatar). The problem is, this event doesn’t exist in WoW.
The Tour of Duty achievements seem to be working fine (granted a certain BG quests gives credit when it shouldn’t, but this existed in BFA as well).
But anyway, it’s clear that there is a lot that needs to be done to fix these achievements to make the Deathbringer achievement, title, and Mount, available to players.
All I am asking is for a status update from Blizzard to let us know how the progress on this is going and the ETA until it is implemented back into the game.
And to the rest of you, I recommend reaching out to Blizzard as much as you can to show them that we care about the status of this achievement, and World PVP in general.

Heya Shadowblades, thanks for the head’s up - I want that title, will probably replace my Bloodthirsty title as my most used. Something about a giant purple bear bringing death is amusing.

I run in WM so I didn’t realize there was only a set time to do WPvP.
But to your point, yeah, like most I’ve been busy w/keys, raid, Torg, Maw, rbgs, and getting both my bear and hunter above 200 ilvl. World pvp happens in between. I have to say, the Maw is super fun as a druid.
You’re actually right to an extent - the druid was born back in vanilla w/my hunter. Hunter was main though up until the end of last xpac.
Meow was feral through the end of Legion, though I did do the mage tower as both Feral and Guardian. Blizzard then killed feral in BfA, at least for raid and m+ so I didn’t play her much.
About a year or less ago I decided I missed playing her and decided to try Guardian, and so there ya go. I’ll probably build a feral set too, but for now I’m enjoying learning to be a better tank/get better at bear things.
I can confirm all achievements except The Many Trials of Zo’Sorg are working or at the very least you can complete them as I completed all except Impressing Zo’Sorg, which I recently received state of decay completion 20x credit so that is a good sign!
