Peace is a lie, its literally impossible to have a large diversity of beliefs and cultures without conflict. There will always -always- be a point in time where there is competiting ideas and one group must give up their ideals for the sake of the other. It is against the nature of any sentient being to give up such hard held beliefs so easily and so conflict rises. Anyone that writes about a lasting peace, is simply a bad writer. It’s an impossibility, and defies nature and breaks emersions as suspension of disbelief only goes so far.
nothing in life worth while is easy.
peace isn’t easy, that’s why it’s worth the effort.
It’s literally impossible, not saying its not something to work toward but the reality of it is it’s an impossibility. Sentient beings would have to defy everything that is their nature to make it happen.
that’s an excuse.
It’s funny, albeit tragic how fundamentally misunderstood both factions seem to be.
Just look at the names; the Alliance shouldn’t have a singular leader. I think it actually has the more diverse cultures of the two, so it is particularly painful to see everything funneled into “the Human Alliance” at all times (and hey, I love their aesthetic, it just gets a little old all the time).
The Horde seems kind of lost for an identity. I actually kind of dig the idea of playing “hot potato” with who is Warchief. Although that may well be part of Thrall’s own personal journey, for as much as I’ve always liked the character, he’s gotten pretty far away from who he was in Lord of the Clans. It may be part of his own story development that he eventually takes up the mantle of Warchief once again, but that he has to go through some personal growth as well, and re-discover that “inner gladiator” he used to be in touch with.
There is no place for Baine.
how about in a batman movie?
Lol different spelling, and way more gumption.
Maybe he just needs to lose an I and gain a mask?
everyone likes a mask right?
I’d accept him at the very least caring more about his people than the opposing faction. And maybe learn better funeral etiquette.
Idk, I’m kinda digging this name change and mask idea. He could become the new Forsaken leader. Take off where Sylvanas left off producing that plague juice which would need a new branding, It’d be Plague Milk
Moo
The problem is he’d be turned into burgers and steaks before being risen again.
Sweet, all the more reason.
BBQ Time Bois
There is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength
Through strength, I gain power
Through power, I gain victory
Through victory, my chains are broken
No because in TBC, we never got a neutral reskin of an Alliance race.
I will never understand why the fanbase is so hellbent on hating Turalyon when he’s literally the only decent character the Alliance has. He throws one line of bantz at Geya’rah and now he’s Alliance Garrosh? You people are insane.
No, HE can do better than an emotionally stunted void-addled freak who has been taking advantage of him since the Second War.
Interesting.
Anyways where did I say I wanted to reignite the faction war? It’s been done, it’s been done badly, and Blizz has to resort to cheap tricks to get it to work. No faction can win so why would I want time wasted on a dead end?
Also Baine sucks.
Lor’themar and Thalyssra as King and Queen of the Horde would be badass. They can usher in the first Horde royal family with beautiful cerulean and lavendar babies, put the wimpy alliance to shame
Yuh would be nice to have like an actual leader of the Horde rather then this council which we’re told exists but never shown and not Baine the traitor.
I kinda feel like the Horde should have a Warchief and the Council.
Warchief does the war stuff and serves as the face of the Horde as well as an example for the rest of the Horde, while the council handles the day to day governance of the Horde as a whole helping to keep it together and actively using its parts to better the whole.
Council also gets veto power over the Warchief when they start doing war criminal stuff. lol
All that said I’d personally put either Baine or Lor’themar up as Warchief.
