“ There is no place for a warchief in a time of peace.” -Baine Bloodhoof

Imagine living in a mostly time of peace and then trying to say lasting peace is a bad writer.

You say that but…

-looks toward specific regions of the world-

I think there is contrary evidence.

It wasn’t one line. And yes, he’s a racist, I never said he was Garrosh. Those are your words.

Its never been non ending. Its had breaks. Thus you use the term wrong.

Idk doesn’t feel peaceful to me tbh. like the minutes to midnight clock is closer to midnight then it has been for a long time. Believe it’s the closest it’s ever been sense its creation in 1947.

Everyone of them smells like a wet dog.

I wouldn’t trust any of them or share my boar meat with them.

40k would like a word with you

Look up first among equals (Primus inter pares).

even the supposedly bloodthirsty orcs are getting sick and tired of the endless war.

pay attention to the lore and stop trying to live in your buff-zaddy fantasy.
You don’t need everything to be about big buff hairy sweaty orcs getting dirty in the mud and taking you off to Honor Hold on their shoulders like some prized loot…

Or maybe you can admit that there is another way to run the horde…by working together with others. Thrall has no idea what to do with void magic, and neither does anybody besides Voss, and even then only just.

Alleria and Turalyon have been fighting for the past like 1k years of their time fighting the burning legion and void…

Why the hell would we report to thrall when hes just as lost as we are? We report to him to listen to Azeroth…because he knows what he is talking about there. Not alleria of voss…

Would you go to Khadgar in matters of swordsmanship?
Would you go to Anduin for literally anything?
Would you go to Thrall to complain about being green?

No, to all of those.

Set your expectations appropriately. THis isn’t about horde or alliance or horde vs alliance.
This is literally a battle for our very existence.
OUR EXISTENCE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAT YOUR STUPID LITTLE FACTION WAR!
grow up.

It’s because the Horde Council doesn’t actually make sense and they know it.

Like, think of all the things we don’t know about it still after FIVE YEARS. How are voting rights proportioned? Do they need a unanimous vote or just a simple majority? Can members choose to leave on their own now or is that still treason? What’s their policy on treason anyway? Since technically they’re all traitors except for Geya’rah. How often do they convene? Can members send delegates to vote in their place? Why have we not seen the Taunka, Revantusk, Forest Hozen, or Shatterspear represented? How do they handle adding new members? Since as far as we can tell Baine let Kiro and Cindrethresh join without consulting anyone.

I could go on like this for a while if I wanted to.

The Horde Council’s vague structure reflects the challenges of transitioning from the Warchief system to a more democratic one, highlighting the struggle to unite the Horde’s diverse factions.

This ambiguity gives the writers flexibility to introduce new conflicts and keeps the focus on key leaders like Thrall and Baine. It also maintains political tension and reflects the realistic growing pains of a young, evolving governance system.

Having a more concerte plan may not leave room for let’s say - kill another horde leader.

When has Azeroth ever been at actual peace? Lol

Honestly? I wouldn’t even be shocked if they tried to off Lor’themar in Midnight. They’ve been so hellbent on slowly killing off the OGs that I’m surprised they haven’t finished the job yet.

It’s bad enough that they had to start borrowing Alliance leaders to lead the Horde.

Half the Horde’s playerbase will have a conniption if Lor’themar rightfully takes the role due to seniority.

Baine Bloodhood was strongest horde warrior right now. Even then horde lost the faction war and surrended to alliance in BFA.

For Lor’themar to become Warchief again would require either:

A shift back to the old ways (perhaps due to a crisis where the Horde seeks a strong singular leader again), or

The dissolution of the Horde Council due to internal conflict or instability.

Lor’themar would also likely have to listen if Thrall wants to abandon the council. If Thrall does not want to. He is not going to step forward.

All routes end at Thrall. He decides.
